This document discusses the Blue Brain project, which aims to simulate the human brain at the cellular level using supercomputers. It began in 2005 in Switzerland. The document outlines what Blue Brain and virtual brains are, how the natural brain works, how Blue Brain works using nanobots to monitor brain activity, and potential advantages like preserving intelligence after death and disadvantages like dependency on computer systems. It concludes that successfully implementing Blue Brain would significantly advance research and technology, allowing the potential to transfer consciousness to computers.

3. BLUE BRAIN SYSTEM IS THE CREATION OF HUMAN BRAIN AT
THE CELLULAR LEVEL INSIDE A COMPUTER SIMULATION AND
THIS PROJECT WAS FOUNDED IN MAY 2005 BY HENRY MARKRAM
IN SWITZERLAND.
Introduction
4. WHAT IS VIRTUAL BRAIN
IBM is now developing the world’s first virtual brain and
within 30 years. So, the virtual brain is the artificial brain which
can work as natural brain and respond as a natural brain. All
these operations are possible with the avail of supercomputers.

6. WORKING OF NATURAL BRAIN
Sensory Input
Receiving input such as sound , images, etc
through sensory cell.
Interpretation
Interpretation of the received input by the brain
by defining states of neurons in the brain.
Motor Output
Receiving of electric responses from the brain to
perform any action.

8. WORKING OF BLUE
BRAIN
These nano bots will be small enough to travel throughout our
circulatory systems.
Monitor the activity of our central nervous system.
Nano robots could also carefully scan the structure of our brain.
They will be able to provide an interface with computers.

13. ADVANTAGES
We can remember things without any effort.
Decision can be made without the presence of a person.
It can do all important functions like an intelligent machine.
Even after the death of a man intelligence can be used.
The activity of different animals can be understood.
Helps in gathering and testing 100 years of data.
14. DISADVANTAGES
We become dependent upon the computer systems.
Others may use technical knowledge against us.
Computer viruses will pose an increasingly critical threat.
The memory back is an expensive procedure.
The real threat, however, is the fear that people will have of new
technologies.
15. CONCLUSION
If blue brain project implemented successfully, would
indeed change many things around us and it will
boost the area of research and technology.
We will be able to transfer our selves into computers
at some point.
It is not an easy task, so it may take several years or
decades to accomplish this.
