On 15th august, 2012 NSS team of
government college for girls celebrated
independence day with spirit and teachers
of our college gave code of conduct to
volunteers. Madam principal and chief
guest of the day hoisted the national flag
in college ground and the function ended
with national anthem.

EYE CARE CAMP
(27-9-12)
Eyes are gems of our body
and taking it as an important
topic on 27-9-12 NSS team of
our college had conducted
one day camp on eye care. In
which chief guest was Dr.
Neeti gupta aware
volunteers about eye care
and after that Pr. Sarita and
Dr. Jaspreet Kaur thanked
her.

Trees plays very important
role in our life. On 29-9-12 the
NSS team of our college
celebrated Van Mahotsav
with excitement and on this
day Mam principal was our

CELEBRATION
On 15th august, 2013 NSS team of government college for girls
celebrated independence day with spirit and teachers of our
college gave code of conduct to volunteers. Madam principal
and chief guest of the day hoisted the national flag in college
ground and the function ended with national anthem.

Trees plays very important role
in our life. On 31-8-13 the NSS
team of our college celebrated
Van Mahotsav with excitement
and on this day Mam principal
was our chief guest and during
that event program officers of
nss and volunteers planted
many plants in college and took
oath to take care of that plants
also.
NATIONAL LEGAL SERVICE DAY
(9-11-13)
On 9-11-13 NSS and legal literacy
unit of our college organised
national legal service seminar in
which chief guest of the event
aware volunteers about human
rights and make them know about
help line. On this day nss unit
organised paper reading contest
and then they distributed prizes to
the winners.
7 DAYS CAMP
28.12.13 - 3.1.13
INAUGURAL FUNCTION
DAY 1
On 28.12.13 the seven day camp
of NSS was started in which the
chief guest was principal mam
of our college and this camp
was organised under the
instruction of program officers
of NSS. Welcome speech was
given by Prof. Baljit Kaur. In
morning , a karate class was
also organised for volunteers.
Then principal mam gave a
lecture on importance of
positive thinking . The day was
ended with cleaning of college
DAY 2
Second day of NSS camp started with
thought of Health Is Wealth . After
attending karate class by Raj Kumar
sir volunteers got chance to listen
tips about health care from Dr. Seema
Kaushal (Gynaecologist). She aware
volunteers about cause , effects and
preventions of puberty disease . After
that Prof. Baljit gave tips about self
defence. In second session S.
Rajinder Singh gave lectue about
health care and also gave some home
remedied to prevent them . And the
day was ended with manual work in
college.
DAY 3The third day of NSS camp started
with the thought o“Vision is the art of
seeing what is invisible to others” .
Volunteers also present their views on
this topic . In first session was started
with college song and a talent hunt
was organised for volunteers in which
students participated in rangoli
making , mehndi designs, best out of
waste, embroidery, fabric painting
designs, posters making, creative
writing and singing songs. In next
session the results were announced
and the day was ended with manual
work by volunteers.
DAY 4
On fourth day of NSS camp the thought of day was ”forgive and
forget”. In first session Prof. Sarita orate a lecture on personality
development and corporate etiquettes . On same day all volunteers
went out for a rally to aware to save water and this rally was
inaugurated by our principal mam Mrs. Gurminder Kaur. The
attraction of this rally was nukkad natak by performed by
volunteers . In second session , manual work was done by
volunteers and the was ended in this way.
DAY 5
On fifth day of NSS camp the motto
of day was “Think positive, Get
positive”. All program officers and
volunteers take an oath to apply
this thought in their lifestyle . A
workshop of fine arts was organised
in which S. Manvir Singh teacher of
our college taught volunteers about
best things made from waste in
second half volunteers clean the
college campus and the day was
ended with national anthem sung by
teachers and volunteers in unison.
DAY 6Sixth day of NSS
camp of was
started with
karate class and
the thought of
day was “sound
mind in sound
body”.
The first guest of the day was Dr. Manisha (ENT
Specialist) who alert volunteers about nose ,ears
and problem of throat and also suggest some
preventions. After that Dr. Gurinder
Sandhu(Nature Therapist) aware volunteers
about many dangerous diseases and also suggest
us about get rid of them and preventions of them.
He also answered the questions of volunteers. In
second session volunteers ended day after
cleaning some areas of college.
DAY 7
The seventh and last day of NSS
camp started with college song and a
grand program was organised for
closing ceremony of NSS seven day
camp. First of all Prof. Baljit Kaur
welcome the guests of the day and
volunteers present their views and
also present a power point
presentation to explain the activities
of 7 days. After that the talent hunt
winners were announced and
principal mam also honoured
program officers and Dr. Jaspreet
Kaur thanked the guests and the
camp was closed with national
anthem.
REPUBLIC DAY
0n 26.1.14 NSS unit organised a one day camp to celebrate
republic day . One this day the chief guest was ma’m principal
and she hoisted the flag and everyone sang national anthem in
unison . After that principal mam congratulate NSS unit for this
occasion and volunteers sang patriotic songs . And the day was
ended with distribution of sweets to everyone.
SPORTS DAY
On 29.1.14 our college organised sports day in which the
volunteers of NSS unit take part in march pass. Almost
every volunteer of NSS participated in this activity .
ACTIVITIES
2014-15
INDEPENDENCE DAY
On 15.8.14 NSS unit of our college has organised one day camp
to celebrate independence day in which chief guest of the event
was mam principal. Vice principal mam , program officers and
volunteers were present there. On this occasion ma’m principal
hoisted the flag and also encourage students to be good citizens
of country. 300 students volunteers participated in this camp.
VAN MAHOTSAV
Man lives in environment, the main part of his life
are trees. Trees play very important role in
everyone’s life. Trees fulfil every basic necessities
of human being. But humans doesn’t understand
it’s importance and cut trees on regular basic.
To aware people about the importance of trees, our
college celebrated Van Mahotsav on 20-7-14 in
which principal ma’am of our college was chief
guest and she gave a speech to students about the
importance of trees and also told them to aware
their parents to save and look after trees around
them . She also encouraged program officers of
NSS , staff members and students to plant more
trees . On this day 15 days were planted by NSS
department and other departments in college
hostel park.
ANTI DRUG RALLY
Drugs are harmful for every human being. It is the only way which
can lead you to bad life and moves to death. So, to aware people
about leading a drug free life the NSS unit of our college organised
an anti drug rally in which NSS volunteers take part and this rally
was conducted under the presence of programme officers prof.
Baljit kaur, Prof. Sarita Khurana and Dr. Jaspreet Kaur on 5-9-14 .
And the rally was inaugurated by ma’am principal Gurminder Kaur .
Volunteers encourage people to live a drug free and happy life.
NUKKAD NATAK
• .
To aware about the side effects of drugs
and the drug addicted life a nukkad natak
was presented in our college on 12.9.14
by NSS volunteers . The theme of nukkad
natak was to aware every student of
college to lead a drugless life . They also
gave knowledge about the diseases which
can be caused by drugs . This nukkad
natak was presented under the presence
of ma’am principal gurminder kaur and
program officers of NSS , Prof. Baljit Kaur,
Prof. Sarita Khurana and Prof. Dr.
Jaspreet Kaur . All students learnt a
message that they will not take drugs in
their life and lead a healthy and happy life
3 DAYS CAMP
In the session 2014-15 youth festival was organised in our
college, and at same time NSS organised a 3 day camp to
maintain cleanliness in college. In this camp the volunteers gave
full contribution . This camp was started on 15 sep and ended on
17 sep, 2014 during this camp the 3 units of NSS clean the
college turn wise and during whole camp volunteers they
cleaned parks , auditorium, and also painted the trees . Principal
ma’am praised the volunteers and unit incharges also.
JEEVAN JAANCH
A seminar was held on 18 oct, 2014 by Guru Gobind Singh
Study Circle and NSS unit in the college auditorium. S.
Darshan Singh was invited as the chief guest of the event .
He encouraged the students to choose a right path and
aware them to live a drug free life. He also shared some
experiences from his personal life . He also tell them about
the power of truth . In this way he encourage volunteers
ton live simple and happy life
COMMUNAL HARMONY WEEK
The motto of NSS is to
help others and keeping it
in mind the NSS unit of
our college had celebrated
Communal Harmony Week
. In this session many
works were done by NSS
unit. The volunteers
collected 5555(five
thousand five hundred fifty
five) rupees to donate
them to needy people.
TRAFFIC RULES AWARENESS
Due to increasing road accidents day by day in
Punjab , the NSS unit of our college has
organised a traffic rules awareness one day
camp with the help of Pioneer Honda and traffic
police of Ludhiana on 19-11-14 . Students learnt
so much from this camp.
7 DAYS CAMP
6.1.15 – 12.1.15
DAY- 1
NSS seven day camp was started
on 6-1-14 . The camp was inaugurated by principal
ma’am . Near about 163 volunteers took part in this
camp and then principal mam gave a lecture on
importance of NSS in college and the goals of NSS
camp of this year. At last NSS president thanked
everyone presented there

mehndi, poem recitation,
creative writing , slogan writing
and many other competitions. In
second session volunteers do
manual work.

CLOSING CEREMONY
In closing ceremony principal
ma’am was present as a chief
guest . The whole report was
read by Mrs. Baljit Kaur . A
presentation was also
presented on the seven days
camp.
In the end the prizes were
distributed to winners of
talent hunt and groups of
campus cleaners.
ONE DAY CAMP
On 7 nov.2015 , one day camp was organised in our college to
aware people about clean India, green India. Volunteers of
NSS clean college campus and our principal ma’am was also
present there. She motivated volunteers and program officers
to do this type of activities in college.

COMMUNAL HARMONY WEEK
From 19 nov to 24 nov communal harmony week
was celebrated in our college . NSS unit make an
effort to serve needy people . In this drive 5555
rs. Were collected to help people .
AIDS AWARENESS AND ANTI DRUG ONE
DAY CAMP

In annual sdports day of the college NSS volunteers
participated in march pass and during these days volunteers
were also allotted the duty to keep there college clean . The
volunteers performed their duty very well and almost every
volunteer of NSS participated in march pass.
HEALTH CHECK-UP CAMP
On 6 march 2016 women day was celebrated
in our college. In which NSS unit organized a
health check up camp . In this camp more
than 400 students got opportunity to get free
health check up.
ONE DAY CAMP ON ROAD SAFETY AND TRAFFIC
RULES
On 6 april,2016 Mr. Anil Joshi and M. D driving
school came to out college to aware students
about traffic rules and road safety . Volunteers
listened ton them very seriously and also learnt
many things.

YOGA DAY
The celebration of International Yoga Day was celebrated under the
collaboration of NSS and Gender Champion Club. The celebration of
this day took place with full zeal and enthusiasm amongst all girls. This
day was celebrated to make everyone realise the importance of health
in our lives as money once lost can be regained but health lost once
cannot be regained. Yoga is one of the best way to keep ourselves fit
and healthy in our busy lifestyles. 50 volunteers participated in it.

NUKKAD NATAK ON
AIDS AWARENESS
A Roadside Show was performed by NSS Volunteers to
spread the awareness about AIDS. This activity was highly
appreciated by all the students and Vice Principal Mam.
DIGITAL INDIA MISSION
P.U CHANDIGARH
A workshop was conducted on 20th Sept,2016 in Punjab University,
Chandigarh. This one day workshop on Digital India was organised by
NSS department. The 10 volunteers went their and participated in the
competitions held like skit, quiz and Poster Making Competition. As
Prime Minister Narendra Modi aimed to remove corruption.
SEVEN DAYS CAMP
2016-17
.
The first day of nss camp was started with innaugration ceremony in
college auditorium. The chief guest of the day was Prof. Dr. Mohinder Kaur
Garewal. This event was held under the instructions of programme officers
Mrs. Baljit Kaur , Mrs. Sarita Khurana and Dr. Jaspreet Kaur. The groups
were made for cleaning of college and teacher incharges aloted them area
to clean and the day was ended by cleaning of college.
Day-1
DAY-2
The second day was started with
karate class class given by Mr. Raj
kumar Kashyap. The yoga class was
also given by Mrs. Anju . Mr.
Rajkumar delivered a lecture on self
defence and taught volunteers about
the importance of karate in every
girl’s life. Mrs. Baljit Kaur thanked
Mr. Rajkumar for delivered lecture
and in evening session was ended
with cleaning of college.
Day-3
The thought of second day
was “farida bure da bhala
kar” . The volunteers
participated with full zeal
in the karate class and
yoga training. In second
session Mrs. Sarita
Khurana taught volunteers
about life mantra . And in
evening session students
clean the college campus.
DAY-4
• The fourth day was started with karate class and yoga training. In
afternoon session Mr.Parveen Kumar conducted a art and craft seminar
to taugh volunteers about collage making , poster making, portrait
making and fabric painting . Students learnt it with full enthusiasm.
Mrs. Baljit Kaur delievered a lecture on positive thinking. In evening
session volunteers clean college campus.
The fifth day was also
started with karate
and yoga class and
after that Dr. Bhavdeep
Singh(Dental
Specialist) gave a
lecture on how to take
care of our teeth. In
last session volunteers
clen the college
campus.
Day-5
DAY-6
The sixth was started with same yoga and karate class. In first
session students took part in various competition organised for
them. In second session Mrs. Anita delivered a speech on culture
and heritage of india. In evening students clean the college.
DAY-7
The last and seventh day of this camp
was started by karate and yoga class.
A valedictory function was organised
by volunteers. Mrs. Baljit Kaur
welcomed the chief guest who was our
respected principal mam Prof. Dr.
Mohinder Kaur Garewal. She honoured
the Winners of competition. A seven
day report was presented by Mrs. Baljit
Kaur. A PPT was also presented by
volunteers and vote of thanks was
given by Dr. Jaspeet Kaur. And the
function was ended with national
anthem sung in unison.
MANUAL WORK DURING
7 DAY CAMP
YOUTH FESTIVAL DUTIES
Inter Zonal Youth Festival was held in our college this
year. Volunteers of NSS were allotted duties .They
worked with full enthusiasm and spirit.
AIDS DAY
Slogan writing was organised
on AIDS Day. Students wrote
slogan on AIDS Awareness
.This activity was held with
the collaboration of Red
Ribbon Club. Poster Making
Competition was organised
on this occasion.
REPUBLIC DAY

DIGITAL PAYMENT AWARENESS
One day seminar in cashless payment mode was organised by
NSS at BCA Lab. Prof. Baldev Singh was the resource person.
The resource person taught about various Govt. websites for the
cashless payment through simple phones as well as smart
phones. After learning about cashless payment mode, Volunteers
registered their names on the website.
After the seminar, 10 Volunteers covered the
markets like Vishvkarma Town, Kamla Nagar, Shimlapuri etc. to
make people aware about the cashless payment mode. Some of
the volunteers went to a near by village to make the people
aware about it. This motto is going on successfully with their
aims.
ROAD SAFETY WEEK
A seminar on awareness of traffic rules was also organised on 11th January,2017 to
make the girls realise the importance of following the traffic rules. As it is rightly
said:-
“BETTER LATE THAN NEVER.”
Obeying the traffic rules is most ensuring the safety of one’s life. Dhruv Dhaiya,
ADCP(Traffic, PCR) was the guest of the day who made girls aware about the traffic
rules awareness with his words.
In this week, poster making, slogan writing competitions were held.
Girls made further people aware everyone with their slogams at the college gate.
RALLY ON ROAD SAFETY
A Rally was organised to aware people about the right of vote on
20 January,2017. NSS and Gender Champion Club Volunteers took
part in it. Rally was started from Guru Nanak Stadium and
departured at College Road.
Students were given free helmets and T-Shirts. The rally was
done on active, bike etc. Many other colleges took part in it.
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
A seminar on Traffic Rules
Awareness was conducted on the
International Women’s Day i.e. on 8th
March,2017. 10 Volunteers of NSS
and Gender Champion Club went to
Children Park. Competitions like
Slogan Writing and Rangoli Making
were held. Students from different
colleges came on this seminar. Dhruv
Dhaiya ADCP(Traffic, PCR) gave a
lecture on Traffic Rules Awareness.
It was conducted on this special
occasion of International Women’s
Day so it can help the women to
aware about the traffic rules.
RUN FOR HUMANITY
A Decathlon was organised with the collaboration of Khalsa Aid and Fateh T.V. on
12th March,2017 ‘Run For Humanity’ was the name of the program.
It was started from the PAU Gate No-2 at 6 a.m. Registrations were done on their
website. Many other colleges and schools participated in it. Medals and
certificates were given. All the people ran togetherly at some distance.

  • 6. 15 AUGUST (ONE DAY CAMP) On 15th august, 2012 NSS team of government college for girls celebrated independence day with spirit and teachers of our college gave code of conduct to volunteers. Madam principal and chief guest of the day hoisted the national flag in college ground and the function ended with national anthem. Victory victory victory to thee……
  • 7. EYE CARE CAMP (27-9-12) Eyes are gems of our body and taking it as an important topic on 27-9-12 NSS team of our college had conducted one day camp on eye care. In which chief guest was Dr. Neeti gupta aware volunteers about eye care and after that Pr. Sarita and Dr. Jaspreet Kaur thanked her.

  • 14. REPUBLIC DAY ON 26-1-13 THE NSS UNIT OF OUR COLLEGE ORGANISED ONE DAY CAMP. ON THIS DAY PRINCIPAL OF OUR COLLEGE HOIESTED THE NATIONAL FLAG AND AFTER THAT VOLUNTEERS SANG NATIONAL ATHEM IN UNISON. THEN MADAM PRINCIPAL CONGRATULATED EVERYONE. INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION On 15th august, 2013 NSS team of government college for girls celebrated independence day with spirit and teachers of our college gave code of conduct to volunteers. Madam principal and chief guest of the day hoisted the national flag in college ground and the function ended with national anthem.
  • 19. VAN MAHOTSAV (31-8-13) Trees plays very important role in our life. On 31-8-13 the NSS team of our college celebrated Van Mahotsav with excitement and on this day Mam principal was our chief guest and during that event program officers of nss and volunteers planted many plants in college and took oath to take care of that plants also.

NATIONAL LEGAL SERVICE DAY (9-11-13) On 9-11-13 NSS and legal literacy unit of our college organised national legal service seminar in which chief guest of the event aware volunteers about human rights and make them know about help line. On this day nss unit organised paper reading contest and then they distributed prizes to the winners.
  • 23. DAY 1 On 28.12.13 the seven day camp of NSS was started in which the chief guest was principal mam of our college and this camp was organised under the instruction of program officers of NSS. Welcome speech was given by Prof. Baljit Kaur. In morning , a karate class was also organised for volunteers. Then principal mam gave a lecture on importance of positive thinking . The day was ended with cleaning of college
  • 24. DAY 2 Second day of NSS camp started with thought of Health Is Wealth . After attending karate class by Raj Kumar sir volunteers got chance to listen tips about health care from Dr. Seema Kaushal (Gynaecologist). She aware volunteers about cause , effects and preventions of puberty disease . After that Prof. Baljit gave tips about self defence. In second session S. Rajinder Singh gave lectue about health care and also gave some home remedied to prevent them . And the day was ended with manual work in college.
  • 25. DAY 3The third day of NSS camp started with the thought o“Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others” . Volunteers also present their views on this topic . In first session was started with college song and a talent hunt was organised for volunteers in which students participated in rangoli making , mehndi designs, best out of waste, embroidery, fabric painting designs, posters making, creative writing and singing songs. In next session the results were announced and the day was ended with manual work by volunteers.
  • 26. DAY 4 On fourth day of NSS camp the thought of day was ”forgive and forget”. In first session Prof. Sarita orate a lecture on personality development and corporate etiquettes . On same day all volunteers went out for a rally to aware to save water and this rally was inaugurated by our principal mam Mrs. Gurminder Kaur. The attraction of this rally was nukkad natak by performed by volunteers . In second session , manual work was done by volunteers and the was ended in this way.
  • 27. DAY 5 On fifth day of NSS camp the motto of day was “Think positive, Get positive”. All program officers and volunteers take an oath to apply this thought in their lifestyle . A workshop of fine arts was organised in which S. Manvir Singh teacher of our college taught volunteers about best things made from waste in second half volunteers clean the college campus and the day was ended with national anthem sung by teachers and volunteers in unison.
  • 28. DAY 6Sixth day of NSS camp of was started with karate class and the thought of day was “sound mind in sound body”. The first guest of the day was Dr. Manisha (ENT Specialist) who alert volunteers about nose ,ears and problem of throat and also suggest some preventions. After that Dr. Gurinder Sandhu(Nature Therapist) aware volunteers about many dangerous diseases and also suggest us about get rid of them and preventions of them. He also answered the questions of volunteers. In second session volunteers ended day after cleaning some areas of college.
  • 29. DAY 7 The seventh and last day of NSS camp started with college song and a grand program was organised for closing ceremony of NSS seven day camp. First of all Prof. Baljit Kaur welcome the guests of the day and volunteers present their views and also present a power point presentation to explain the activities of 7 days. After that the talent hunt winners were announced and principal mam also honoured program officers and Dr. Jaspreet Kaur thanked the guests and the camp was closed with national anthem.
  • 30. REPUBLIC DAY 0n 26.1.14 NSS unit organised a one day camp to celebrate republic day . One this day the chief guest was ma’m principal and she hoisted the flag and everyone sang national anthem in unison . After that principal mam congratulate NSS unit for this occasion and volunteers sang patriotic songs . And the day was ended with distribution of sweets to everyone.
  • 31. SPORTS DAY On 29.1.14 our college organised sports day in which the volunteers of NSS unit take part in march pass. Almost every volunteer of NSS participated in this activity .
  • 33. INDEPENDENCE DAY On 15.8.14 NSS unit of our college has organised one day camp to celebrate independence day in which chief guest of the event was mam principal. Vice principal mam , program officers and volunteers were present there. On this occasion ma’m principal hoisted the flag and also encourage students to be good citizens of country. 300 students volunteers participated in this camp.
  • 34. VAN MAHOTSAV Man lives in environment, the main part of his life are trees. Trees play very important role in everyone’s life. Trees fulfil every basic necessities of human being. But humans doesn’t understand it’s importance and cut trees on regular basic. To aware people about the importance of trees, our college celebrated Van Mahotsav on 20-7-14 in which principal ma’am of our college was chief guest and she gave a speech to students about the importance of trees and also told them to aware their parents to save and look after trees around them . She also encouraged program officers of NSS , staff members and students to plant more trees . On this day 15 days were planted by NSS department and other departments in college hostel park.
  • 35. ANTI DRUG RALLY Drugs are harmful for every human being. It is the only way which can lead you to bad life and moves to death. So, to aware people about leading a drug free life the NSS unit of our college organised an anti drug rally in which NSS volunteers take part and this rally was conducted under the presence of programme officers prof. Baljit kaur, Prof. Sarita Khurana and Dr. Jaspreet Kaur on 5-9-14 . And the rally was inaugurated by ma’am principal Gurminder Kaur . Volunteers encourage people to live a drug free and happy life.
  • 36. NUKKAD NATAK • . To aware about the side effects of drugs and the drug addicted life a nukkad natak was presented in our college on 12.9.14 by NSS volunteers . The theme of nukkad natak was to aware every student of college to lead a drugless life . They also gave knowledge about the diseases which can be caused by drugs . This nukkad natak was presented under the presence of ma’am principal gurminder kaur and program officers of NSS , Prof. Baljit Kaur, Prof. Sarita Khurana and Prof. Dr. Jaspreet Kaur . All students learnt a message that they will not take drugs in their life and lead a healthy and happy life
  • 37. 3 DAYS CAMP In the session 2014-15 youth festival was organised in our college, and at same time NSS organised a 3 day camp to maintain cleanliness in college. In this camp the volunteers gave full contribution . This camp was started on 15 sep and ended on 17 sep, 2014 during this camp the 3 units of NSS clean the college turn wise and during whole camp volunteers they cleaned parks , auditorium, and also painted the trees . Principal ma’am praised the volunteers and unit incharges also.
  • 38. JEEVAN JAANCH A seminar was held on 18 oct, 2014 by Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle and NSS unit in the college auditorium. S. Darshan Singh was invited as the chief guest of the event . He encouraged the students to choose a right path and aware them to live a drug free life. He also shared some experiences from his personal life . He also tell them about the power of truth . In this way he encourage volunteers ton live simple and happy life
  • 39. COMMUNAL HARMONY WEEK The motto of NSS is to help others and keeping it in mind the NSS unit of our college had celebrated Communal Harmony Week . In this session many works were done by NSS unit. The volunteers collected 5555(five thousand five hundred fifty five) rupees to donate them to needy people.
  • 40. TRAFFIC RULES AWARENESS Due to increasing road accidents day by day in Punjab , the NSS unit of our college has organised a traffic rules awareness one day camp with the help of Pioneer Honda and traffic police of Ludhiana on 19-11-14 . Students learnt so much from this camp.

  • 56. VIKLANG ROZGAR MELA  NSS unit of our college organised a handicapped vocational fair  In this fair NSS volunteers help them in every way, they filled forms, they get them to fair and also make them return to there places.

  • 59. DAY-2  A karate class was conducted for volunteers by Mr.Rajkumar Kayashap. A lecture by Dr. Gurpreet Kaur with help of power point presentation regarding how to get success in life.
  • 60. DAY-3 In first session of third day Dr. Manisha Khanna (ENT Specialist) gave a lecture to gave tips of volunteers about good health. In second session Dr. Bhavdeep Singh Ahuja delivered a lecture about dental care with the help of presentation.
  • 61. DAY-4 On fourth day Mr. Parveen Kumar (fine arts teacher of our college ) came there to make volunteers learn about different use of art and also teach volunteers different types of poster making and painting.
  • 62. DAY-5 In the first session of fifth day Dr. Triveni Saggar (gynaecologist) delivered a lecture about common problem of girls in adolescence. In second session volunteers clean the college campus.
  • 63. DAY-6 In first session of sixth day a talent hunt was organised in which volunteers took part in poster making, flower making , mehndi, poem recitation, creative writing , slogan writing and many other competitions. In second session volunteers do manual work. .
  • 64. CLOSING CEREMONY In closing ceremony principal ma’am was present as a chief guest . The whole report was read by Mrs. Baljit Kaur . A presentation was also presented on the seven days camp. In the end the prizes were distributed to winners of talent hunt and groups of campus cleaners.

  • 69. HEALTH CHECK-UP CAMP On 6 march 2016 women day was celebrated in our college. In which NSS unit organized a health check up camp . In this camp more than 400 students got opportunity to get free health check up.

  • 74. YOGA DAY The celebration of International Yoga Day was celebrated under the collaboration of NSS and Gender Champion Club. The celebration of this day took place with full zeal and enthusiasm amongst all girls. This day was celebrated to make everyone realise the importance of health in our lives as money once lost can be regained but health lost once cannot be regained. Yoga is one of the best way to keep ourselves fit and healthy in our busy lifestyles. 50 volunteers participated in it.

  • 78. NUKKAD NATAK ON AIDS AWARENESS A Roadside Show was performed by NSS Volunteers to spread the awareness about AIDS. This activity was highly appreciated by all the students and Vice Principal Mam.
  • 79. DIGITAL INDIA MISSION P.U CHANDIGARH A workshop was conducted on 20th Sept,2016 in Punjab University, Chandigarh. This one day workshop on Digital India was organised by NSS department. The 10 volunteers went their and participated in the competitions held like skit, quiz and Poster Making Competition. As Prime Minister Narendra Modi aimed to remove corruption.
  • 81. . The first day of nss camp was started with innaugration ceremony in college auditorium. The chief guest of the day was Prof. Dr. Mohinder Kaur Garewal. This event was held under the instructions of programme officers Mrs. Baljit Kaur , Mrs. Sarita Khurana and Dr. Jaspreet Kaur.   • 82. DAY-2 The second day was started with karate class class given by Mr. Raj kumar Kashyap. The yoga class was also given by Mrs. Anju . Mr. Rajkumar delivered a lecture on self defence and taught volunteers about the importance of karate in every girl’s life. Mrs. Baljit Kaur thanked Mr. Rajkumar for delivered lecture and in evening session was ended with cleaning of college.
  • 83. Day-3 The thought of second day was “farida bure da bhala kar” . The volunteers participated with full zeal in the karate class and yoga training. In second session Mrs. Sarita Khurana taught volunteers about life mantra . And in evening session students clean the college campus.

In afternoon session Mr.Parveen Kumar conducted a art and craft seminar to taugh volunteers about collage making , poster making, portrait making and fabric painting . Students learnt it with full enthusiasm. Mrs. Baljit Kaur delievered a lecture on positive thinking. In evening session volunteers clean college campus.

  • 87. DAY-7 The last and seventh day of this camp was started by karate and yoga class. A valedictory function was organised by volunteers. Mrs. Baljit Kaur welcomed the chief guest who was our respected principal mam Prof. Dr. Mohinder Kaur Garewal. She honoured the Winners of competition. A seven day report was presented by Mrs. Baljit Kaur. A PPT was also presented by volunteers and vote of thanks was given by Dr. Jaspeet Kaur. And the function was ended with national anthem sung in unison.
  • 89. YOUTH FESTIVAL DUTIES Inter Zonal Youth Festival was held in our college this year. Volunteers of NSS were allotted duties .They worked with full enthusiasm and spirit.
  • 90. AIDS DAY Slogan writing was organised on AIDS Day. Students wrote slogan on AIDS Awareness .This activity was held with the collaboration of Red Ribbon Club. Poster Making Competition was organised on this occasion.

  • 93. One day seminar in cashless payment mode was organised by NSS at BCA Lab. Prof. Baldev Singh was the resource person. The resource person taught about various Govt. websites for the cashless payment through simple phones as well as smart phones. After learning about cashless payment mode, Volunteers registered their names on the website. After the seminar, 10 Volunteers covered the markets like Vishvkarma Town, Kamla Nagar, Shimlapuri etc. to make people aware about the cashless payment mode. Some of the volunteers went to a near by village to make the people aware about it. This motto is going on successfully with their aims.
  • 94. ROAD SAFETY WEEK A seminar on awareness of traffic rules was also organised on 11th January,2017 to make the girls realise the importance of following the traffic rules. As it is rightly said:- “BETTER LATE THAN NEVER.” Obeying the traffic rules is most ensuring the safety of one’s life. Dhruv Dhaiya, ADCP(Traffic, PCR) was the guest of the day who made girls aware about the traffic rules awareness with his words. In this week, poster making, slogan writing competitions were held. Girls made further people aware everyone with their slogams at the college gate.
  • 95. RALLY ON ROAD SAFETY A Rally was organised to aware people about the right of vote on 20 January,2017. NSS and Gender Champion Club Volunteers took part in it. Rally was started from Guru Nanak Stadium and departured at College Road. Students were given free helmets and T-Shirts. The rally was done on active, bike etc. Many other colleges took part in it.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY A seminar on Traffic Rules Awareness was conducted on the International Women’s Day i.e. on 8th March,2017. 10 Volunteers of NSS and Gender Champion Club went to Children Park. Competitions like Slogan Writing and Rangoli Making were held. Students from different colleges came on this seminar. Dhruv Dhaiya ADCP(Traffic, PCR) gave a lecture on Traffic Rules Awareness. It was conducted on this special occasion of International Women’s Day so it can help the women to aware about the traffic rules.
  • 97. RUN FOR HUMANITY A Decathlon was organised with the collaboration of Khalsa Aid and Fateh T.V. on 12th March,2017 ‘Run For Humanity’ was the name of the program. It was started from the PAU Gate No-2 at 6 a.m. Registrations were done on their website. Many other colleges and schools participated in it. Medals and certificates were given. All the people ran togetherly at some distance.
