To Whom It May Concern:
I am very pleased to write this recommendation on behalf of Mr. James Vincent. James Vincent
currently works with me in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest (NAVFAC SW)
Public Works (PW) Core BSV&E Division. I am a Supervisor, the Commander Navy Region
Southwest Transportation Program Manager & oversee the NAVFAC SW California Air
Resources Board Emission Standard Fleet Compliance & Alternative Fuel Initiatives.
While executing these duties, I have had numerous occasions where I have had to interact with/
receive support from James. During this time, I was very impressed with James’ exceptional
work capabilities, communication skills, adaptability & willingness to perform/follow-through with
whatever task he was assigned. James is a team player who has an ability to perform a wide
variety of quality work while displaying individual initiative, dedication, resourcefulness &
professionalism & is a very capable, organized, hard-working employee that takes a proactive
approach.
James has also taken on several special projects, such as developing PW BSV&E Internet
Portal website pages & a standardized customer vehicle rental information pamphlet, as he is
so successful in gaining cooperation, gathering data from various teams. James’ ability to
analyze work processes, from point of origin to final product, identify weaknesses in our
processes, & monitor target areas to ensure continuing response toward targeted improvements
is above & beyond an acceptable level of competence.
In summary, I would recommend James Vincent for any job he may seek as he would be a
valuable asset to any organization.
If you would like to further discuss James’ capabilities &/or qualifications, please do not hesitate
to call me at (619)339-3770.
Sincerely,
Beverly “Kim” Naylor
