I worked in Shell Nigeria for over 20 years as a Stakeholder Management Professional working with
relevant stakeholders to sustainably secure social license to enhance the operations and growth of the
company business as well as reputation management/enhancement.
For over 5 years (March, 2010-August, 2015) I was the Social Performance Lead (Community Interface
Coordinator) and the Authorised Person in Social Performance , covering Niger Delta oil producing
communities. A member of Swamp West Asset Leadership Team, championing the drive for the
attainment of production targets by deploying strategies that enhance zero community production
deferment, and attainment of community disruption free days. Designed and deployed collaborative
strategies that led to a drastic reduction in crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism. A member of Shell West
Transition Leadership Teamthat effectively managed the host communities and other relevant
Stakeholders that led to the successful divestment of West Assets and the relocation of Shell from Warri.

 Plan and coordinate all community interface activities for the West Swamp Asset areas, covering
Escravos, Otumara, NorthBank, Yokri, SouthBank, Estuary, Tunu, Opukushi, Benisede, and
Ogbotobo oil fields, producing over 120Mbopd.
 Design and coordinate implementation of all stakeholders engagement programmes for all interest
groups.
 Manage business social impacts by designing and deploying enhancement and mitigation
strategies.
 Manage deployment of programmes to sustain the social license to operate and grow the business
through CSR and other socio-economic initiatives. Develop 1 to 5 years Sustainable Community
Development Plans for communities in the production areas.
 Lead GMOU negotiations and ensure its deployment in cluster communities.
 Provide Contractor entry in communities for the execution of field activities to enhance the
attainment of disruption free days.
 Manage all community issues to enhance the attainment of production targets, and reputation
enhancement.
