Achmad Noviar has areas of expertise in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Community

mechanism throughout Company CSR program and responsible to conduct stakeholders
mapping, analysis and engagement plan through Public Consultation and Participation (PCP).
Noviar was responsible to ensure the Company CSR program is fitted with Company Business
Strategy. Noviar provided progress of CSR program implementation to be included in
Company’s annual report as well as for the Company Sustainability Report.
Sept 2011-Feb 2014 Senior Social Consultant, Golder Associates, A Canadian-based consulting firm
Noviar was a senior social consultant at Golder Associates in Jakarta, Indonesia. He had been
conducting several Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessment (ESHIA) studies for
mining companies in Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Central Halmahera. He had also been involving
in Environmental Due Diligence and sustainable development for Palm Oil and Timber
Plantation, manufacturing and mining companies. His expertise in social sciences such as
socio-economic, socio-cultural, Public Consultation and Participation, stakeholders’ analysis
and engagement and labor aspect have been contributing to Golder's clients’ needs. Noviar
has ability to develop, monitor and evaluate the Corporate Social Responsibility/ Community
Development Programs for Golder's clients.
Sept 2010-Aug 2011 CSR Superintendent, PT Multi Harapan Utama (MHU Coal) in East Kalimantan
MHU is a coal mine company and Noviar was responsible for designing, developing,
implementing, monitoring and evaluation as well as reporting on CSR programmatic plan and
its updates for the company and build partnership with various related stakeholders such as

local govt, local community empowerment, universities, in terms of supporting the company's
CSR implementation in the local community. He was as well responsible to maintain
stakeholders' contacts matrices to the company's CSR program implementation.
May 2009-July 2010 Program Development Officer, International Relief and Development (IRD), an
International NGO
Noviar was responsible for determining the overall layout and flow of the Concept Papers and
Proposals and developing the conceptual frameworks for presenting technical proposals that
would enable IRD to present its competitive advantage in a winning manner. He was also
responsible to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the project that was funded by
donor agencies related to humanitarian relief as well as other community programmatic
programs. Noviar was also responsible to maintain IRD Indonesia contacts matrices for all
program development related work as requested.

Noviar was responsible to develop, design, monitor and evaluate the CSR programs as
requested by the companies who funded the programs. He also handled internal coordination
on allocating the needs for resources (people and funds) for implementing CSR programs. He

Noviar was responsible in producing monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports for all
agencies: State Departments, Commercial Services, Agricultural Services, Military Services
and Public Affairs Services. Noviar was a Certifying Officer authorizing the disbursement for
up to USD 50,000. Noviar was responsible in monitoring and evaluating the financial records
of funding and disbursement which include payroll, cashiering, vouchering and procurement.
