Attached to Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force – Afghanistan (CJSOTF-A) in order to support USSOF at
both the strategic (national) and tactical (unit) levels by independently designing/conducting operationally relevant social
science research to address identified knowledge gaps concerning CENTCOM AO (specifically Afghanistan & Pakistan).
Independently researched and authored a product concerning Afghan Insider Threats that was widely disseminated and
read by USSOF leadership in the US and Afghanistan. Invited to participate in the official US Insider Threats Working
Group, Kabul City/Afghanistan.
2. Supporting Afghan National Army Special Operation Command (ANASOC), led and conducted, to date, the largest
research survey involving members of Afghan National Army Special Forces (ANASF) recruits. Final product
generated for ANASF leadership and US counterparts responsible for ANASF recruitment/training throughout
Afghanistan.
Spent over six months working as an enabler to two different US Army Special Forces teams located out of the same
District Stability Platform (DSP) site. Participated in 17 operations and 8 Key Leader Engagements (KLE)/Shuras. The
second team incorporated components of this research into its “Way Ahead” brief, presented to USSOF flag officers,

As part of the doctoral program, assigned to different faculty members to carry out various quantitative and qualitative
research-related tasks on a diverse set of projects.
Assisted in organizing and collecting data from over 50 in-depth one-on-one interviews as well as four focus group
interviews conducted in the field (Newark, NJ/USA). Also, utilized NVivo software to transcribe and collate subject
answers from 1000 plus pages of text.
Working under Dr. Kyle Beardsley, utilized archival research at Emory University library, The Carter Center, as well as
online resources (i.e. UN Resolution Database and LexisNexis) to generate a comprehensive list and narrative account
of all United Nation Security Council Resolutions invoking either Article VI or VII of the UN Charter. (Two Months)
Utilized GIS software, online databases, and historical records to independently code the geographic spread of violent
internal conflicts in Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Africa as well as the proximity of neighboring states from 1950
to 2000. (Four Months)

Teacher Certification Program out of University of North Texas, College of Education (COE).
Maintained and administered the Program’s ACCESS database of over 1800 students.
Utilized program files and SPSS software to collect/statically analyze data pertaining to student educational
backgrounds and performance on state assessment tests for COE faculty research.
Conducted over 100 personal interviews with current students to better gauge their formal training and depth of
knowledge of their selected subject area.
