I am a confident, self-motivated individual with an outgoing personality currently working as a
Store Manager in a fast paced retail environment. I thrive under pressure and I believe this
one of the key attributes that has enabled me to further develop my skills and career from a
young age.
I am seeking a new opportunity/challenge as I feel the time has come to further my skills in a
new environment and job role. I am a very loyal Individual having worked for Wickes Building
Supplies for 17 years, since I was 18, for the last 7 years I have also policed as a special
constable for Northamptonshire police. I am looking to work within an environment that will

I have worked for Wickes Building supplies from the age of 18 giving 17 years service and loyalty, I have also
policed as a special constable for 7 years which has helped develop my people skills at all levels.
I am a professional, highly motivated retail manager who is very customer/colleague focused with proven skills
in profit and margin enhancement and colleague personal engagement and cultural development.
I have done a lot of work with people and diversity in Wickes taking Wickes to Manchester Pride in 2014 and
2015 which helped expand the brand to many new customers and grow the business as well as helping our
colleagues in realising a Great Place to Work with a diverse culture.
I'm a great believer in open communications at all levels of a business, a business which values people.
I have a strong desire to improve on all aspects of my personal and professional attributes and to also
contribute to the continuous growth and enhancement of the business.

• Overall accountability for total store operations
• Store Sales budgets totalling 5.2 million
• Ensuring complete compliance with H&S regulations in the store
• Ensuring the best customer service standards are adhered to at all times and driving a customer service

• Achieving YoY Sales growth for 2014 & 2015 for core Sales
