Summary
In my journey of 25 years as a hospitality professional I have worked in the best
of the luxury collection of the Taj , across 5 cities with hotels of varied nature and
size .
I have experience of working in iconic city luxury hotels like Taj Palace Delhi , Taj
Bengal Kolkata , Taj Coromandel Chennai , uber luxury resort like Taj Lake
Palace Udaipur , city business hotels like Taj Banjara.
Have been part of 2 opening hotels as a young team member with Taj Bengal and
as the leader at Vivanta by Taj , Begumpet – Hyderabad where I am currently
working as the General Manager .
Have worked extensively both in Taj owned as well as joint ventures of the Taj
hotels where there is owning company also to deal with .
In my various capacities have dealt with multiple stake holders like guests
,owners , team , government bodies with aplomb . Have achieved great customer
satisfaction scores and high audit scores in all my hotels
Currently I am the President of the Hotels and restaurant association of Telengana
state second year running . The association represents all the star hotels of the city
and takes up the issues pertaining to the industry with the government bodies and
other associations . I am also the member of the managing committee at the SKAL
for Hyderabad chapter and we are in running to get the world SKAL congress to
the city of Hyderabad in 2016.
I also represent the hotel industry on the board of directors of the state tourism
department
I both as a General Manager and earlier as Food & Beverage manager , restaurant
manager have helmed extremely profitable and successful ventures . Have lead
managed mammoth gatherings of 15000 guests as recent as March 2015.

• Was involved in every stage of planning of the hotel , while
concurrently working at Taj Banjara .
• Opened the hotel 4-5 months before scheduled opening amongst lot of

Taj Banjara is a 122 room hotel with 3 restaurants, a lobby lounge bar and a
pub.
• Taj Banjara was the first 5 star hotel in the state of Andhra Pradesh and
holds its own against the newer hotels and is considered to be the
celebrity hub of the city. The turnover of the hotel is close to 400 million
INR and has a staff strength of 300 staff members.
• Hotel delivered excellent results in all the 4 years of my stewardship , we
were successful in countering the sudden downtrend post the Mumbai
attack by implementing a very rewarding banquet growth strategy .
Food and Beverage Manager, Taj Coromandel, Chennai—April 2004,
re designated as Executive Assistant Manager in April 2006.
