1. To whom it may concern:
The following is a reference and recommendation letter for Jackie Todd, owner and operator of Brindled
Canine Behaviors, LLC. It is without hesitation that I recommend Jackie in any arena pertaining to animal
behavior training and client counseling.
As a veterinarian and Partner/Chief-of-Staff of our small animal hospital, I have known Jackie as an
employee who worked as a veterinary technician in our hospital over the past several years. Through this
employment with us, I have had the opportunity to work side by side with Jackie and have gained a
comprehensive understanding of Jackie’s ability to work with clients and pets as an educator, counselor,
persuader, and advocate for medical and behavioral health. Jackie repeatedly has shown a level of
expertise in dealing with difficult behavioral problems that have surfaced during client interactions, and
has been a powerful resource for our hospital team through her uncanny ability to relate and connect with
clients and their pets, whether the problem is medical or behavioral.
Jackie has shown a level of passion, commitment, trustworthiness, and professionalism through her work
with us that makes her stand out as both a certified veterinary technician, hospital team leader, and
knowledgeable animal behaviorist. In addition to her extensive medical and preventative medicine
knowledge, Jackie has been the primary advocate in helping many of our clients make improvements with
their pets in: anxiety disorders, aggression issues, basic obedience, puppy counseling, and house training
principles. She has a natural and comfortable way of dialoguing with clients, interacting with their pets,
and in ascertaining and explaining behavioral based issues that few have the patience and ability to
accomplish.
It is therefore without hesitation that I would recommend Jackie Todd for to any organization that
dedicates itself to the improvement of the human animal bond and to improving the quality of life for
families and pets. Jackie’s keen ability to educate and connect with clients combined with her superior
behavior knowledge can only make her an asset to the field of animal behavior.
Please do not hesitate to call me to discuss Jackie’s qualifications further.
Sincerely,
Luther Groth, DVM
Partner and Chief of Staff
