spaced) of how the knowledge, skills, or theories of this course
have been applied, or could be applied, in a practical manner to
your current work environment. If you are not currently
working, share times when you have or could observe these
theories and knowledge could be applied to an employment
opportunity in your field of study.

Upon completion of this course:
Demonstrate knowledge of the “project life cycle” and how
projects are organized, initiated, planned, executed, monitored,
and closed.Identify the “knowledge areas” as described by
PMBOK® Guide and familiarize themselves with how they are
utilized within project management and the life
cycle.Demonstrate knowledge of the concepts of “scrum
management,” “portfolio management,” “projects and
subprojects,” “program management,” and project selection
methods.Identify organizational types, structures, and culture in
relation to project managementDemonstrate knowledge
regarding how Agile project management and PM software
assist in the project management process.Identify project roles
regarding managers, executives, core team members,
etc.Demonstrate knowledge regarding project charters and their
effect on project management.Identify how project stakeholders,
human resources, scope planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk,
quality, and teams need to be managed and how they affect
project management.Demonstrate knowledge as to the specific
requirements for professional certifications as noted by PMI® .
