Plans don't work - the only thing a plan is good for is to make people feel good about what they're going to change regardless. Instead of a plan, try to focus on being flexible and okay with change.
Strategy Means Nothing - at the end of the day your people have to buy in to the strategy. Without your teams support your strategy is useless. If you are using a strategy, it must be built by the people!
Goals are for losers, systems are for winners - From Scott Kelly's "How To Fail At Almost Everything and Still Win Big". Goals, once you achieve them leave you nowhere to go but to reset your goals. This can be frustrating if you're a very driven person. Instead have a system. A way to approach problems, a way to deal with situations. The better your system, the better result you're going to create in the long run.
