➢ Project is located on the north-south line parallel to the sea shore between the cities of Jubail-
Dammam, Al Khobar KSA.
➢ The purposed of the project is to transfer 500,000 m3/day treated water from the new Marafiq
Desalination Plant in Jubail industrial area to the city of Dammam, passing through the cities of
Rastannurah, Safwa, Qatif and Sayhat via the main steel pipeline, the diameter which varies
from 60” to 76” and via steel water tanks and pumping stations.
➢ Project is includes the connecting of the main line to city network via 24 “ to 36” diameter of
pipeline and improving and upgrading of existing water distribution system in eastern province
of hofuf and the blending stations.
