Ripley located in Lauderdale County is the County seat, Ripley is located in northwest Tennessee is in a economically
depressed county. Ripley has received numerous grants to improve the downtown area as a tourist attraction for their
Tomato Festival. A2H has continued to have the opportunity to design and develop construction documents through to
oversight of all construction activity in Ripley. Phase One was the development of the fountain and the courthouse
grounds, Phase Two was the improvements to the retail area. Phase Three has been further improvements to retail and
development of and amphitheater. Improvements included, crab orchard stone and black limestone sidewalks insets.
Other improvements included site furnishings, pedestrian lighting, building facades, landscape and irrigation.
Approximately $5-5.5 million thus far has been spent on improvements. Coordination was required for design of the
fountain, street lighting, civil and architectural improvements.
