Earth-like system called the trappist-01, was discovered in February 2017. NASA named the system based on the telescope that they used to observed the system. The discovery open people's mind regarding the existence of aliens. Plus, it is stated in holy book Quran about 7 places that almost the same as the place that human current;y live ( Earth) In the slides, we provide the methods of discovery as well. Enjoy!!!

brightest in infrared light, whose
wavelengths are longer than the
eye can see.

• It is not orbit around Earth-actually follows Earth’s orbit around the Sun and
doesn’t orbit Earth
• Because the instrument must be kept very cold, so it was best to keep it further
away from earth.
• This is because the telescope is trying to observe heat.
• If the telescope was warmer, the extra heat would overwhelm the faint IR
signals from space.
• The telescope must also be protected from heat of sun
• So it carriers a special solar shield and always points away from sun.
