3. No humans will be embarking on this mission as Venus is too hot
for us to survive. Rather, we will be sending an extremely heat
resistant rover.
4. The U.S. government will be funding our mission and we will make a deal to
give them even more of an incentive.
They will give us a set amount of money and we will give them a
percentage of the profits our mission produced from mining and selling
very rare materials.
5. On Venus, we will hope to find extremely rare materials that can
help and advance our society as whole, maybe even creating
another industrial revolution.
In doing so, we also hope to generate a big profit from these rare
materials. This could possibly help us advance our society.
6. On July 7, 2023 we will launch and it
will take 4 months, 24 days, 2 hours,
23 minutes and 40.63 seconds to get
to Venus!!
7. We will use the Hohmann transfer orbit to calculate our flight path and how long it will
take.
On July 7, 2023, Venus will be 108.04 million km from the sun and 58.63 million km from
Earth.
We couldn’t find how much fuel we would need to get to venus but we know it is a lot
because of the pressure.
(6.673x10^-11 m^2/kg/s^2)(4.867x10^24 kg)
(6.0518x10^6)^2
=8.87m/s^2
