A Fab Lab (fabrication laboratory)
is a small-scale workshop offering
(personal) digital fabrication.
- Equipped with flexible computer-controlled
tools that are suitable for various materials
and object sizes
- GOAL: to empower, to educate and to
create “almost anything”, making fabrication
technology accessible to ‘almost anybody’
- Born in MIT in 2000’s: Neil Gershenfeld.
