The document lists numerous achievements and awards for Richard, including being recognized in the top 5% for excellence by Nigerian oil and gas executives in 2015. Richard championed rigless reactivation of inactive wells, investigated problematic wells, and recommended remedial solutions that saved rig workover costs. He also ensured proper utilization of wireline units, generated bottom hole testing programs, and validated survey and invoice results. Richard's proactive work improved well integrity ratings and operations in Buhasa field.

Championed the Rigless reactivation of inactive wells campaign & investigated a good
number of inactive wells/problems and recommended remedial solutions, e.g. Control
line leak/plug, SCSSV fail to open/close, scale problem, accessibility problem, cement
water & gas shut-off operations for HGOR, HBS&W, high H2S & TDS, etc. and save
Rig workover capital expenditure.
Investigated, recommended and inserted in drilling workover schedule (DWS) many
controversial wells with integrity problems for ADCO Buhasa oil field operations
through excellent presentation and defense during well integrity (SAP) committee
meetings. Represented BUH/BQ/HU assets & worked as well integrity (SAP) committee
secretary at Technical Centre (Integrity & Operations) 1 year.
Richard has investigated many integrity problematic wells (SAP), recommended for
workover and made excellent presentations at Technical Centre(TC-IO); SAP committee
on monthly basis and the wells endorsed for workover and majority of the wells
workover already completed and productivity improved tremendously. These wells are:
BU-042, BU-034, BU-094, BU-068, BU-153, BU-154, BU-240, BU-250, BU-253, BU-
278, BU-281, BU-285, BU-356, BU-448, BU-458, BU-462, BU-467, and BU-688.
Richard has ensured proper utilization of the six NDC Wireline units serving the
production engineering team (Wireline, Rigless, and Logging/Testing & Well Integrity)
alongside sharing with the 11 drilling/workover Rigs in Buhasa.
Richard generates isochronal Wireline bottom hole testing programs in coordination with
Buhasa development and sent same to operations and ensured that the bottom hole
surveys are conducted as per program.
Richard Validates RMP survey results and made sure that corrections are made where
necessary prior sending to the development team.
Mr. Richard identified the problem of non-stabilization of bottom hole temperature in
NDC down hole gauge data and educated the lab technicians on the need for consistency
of results through the concept of geothermal gradient across the subsurface.
Richard validates NDC Wireline invoice with the contractual terms and authorize
payment through the Buhasa finance department.
Richard ensured that monthly SC-SSSV preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective
(CR) work orders due PE Wireline are executed and closed in maximo to maintain 100%
KPI compliance.
Richard maintains data base of SC-SSSV inventory, Wireline daily activity reports and
well accessibility.
Richard coordinated with operations team leaders to identify & risks assess integrity
problematic wells for the DGS process implementation.
Richard surveillance work made sure that high risk wells were reduced to ALARP in
Buhasa field and achieved 100% KPI of the wells operating within the safe operating
envelop.
2. Richard coordinated with TC (I&O) for the calculation of MAASP values for wells
operating without MAASP values and also identify wells with low MAASP values and
upgrading them with new MAASP values and same updated in PIES.
Richard’s proactive tendency placed the Buhasa operations & well integrity rating on
100% for the 2015 Camel race performance management results and eventual won the
assets camel race competition.
Richard intervened and brought remedial solution to many controversial well integrity
problems affecting Buhasa asset e.g. BU-407 corroded casing problem & BU-688 newly
worked over SAP well.
Richard has recommended solutions like seal tite, acid unplugging and plastic sealant
technologies to well problems like Control line leak/plug and wellhead seal integrity
failure.
Richard has successfully managed the commissioning of the newly drilled & worked over
wells.
Richard participated effectively in 2013 RMP operations activities & succeeded to match
the planned/actual KPI year percentage with a significant utilization.
Actively participated in training of UAE National Engineers & CAMs.
Attended numerous courses such as introduction to Well Integrity Management, Well
Integrity Data Assessment, artificial lifting design and Petroleum Economics, Risk and
Decision Analysis.
Richard participated effectively in the 2015 OPERSAFE audit by ‘Total’ and defended
creditably the Buhasa well integrity.
Managed and completed several wells (oil/gas) for Total Exploration & Production in the
following offshore/onshore fields: Amenam/Kpono offshore field, Ime offshore field,
Offon offshore field and Obagi onshore field, creating a savings on AFE’s and generating
early payouts.
Initiated and profitably managed the Sand Control department in WEAFRI, continually
increasing revenues and market share from the inception of the department
