Construction of Marafiq IWPP Power Plant & Desalination Plant Project is a joint venture between Marafiq, Saudi
Electricity Company (SEC), the PublicInvestment Fund of the Ministry of Finance, and the international Suez
Consortium comprising Suez Energy International of Belgium, Gulf Investment Corporation of Kuwait and ACWA
Power Projects of Saudi Arabia. The primary fuel is natural gas with high-speeddiesel as back-up fuel. The plant is a
dual-purpose facility, with the power plant based on combined-cycle generation process, in which excess heat from
the gas turbine generators is fed into heat recovery steam generators, or HRSGs, to make steam to generate additional
electricity via the steam turbines. This enhances the efficiency of electricity generation to over 60 percent, as opposed
to the usual 50 percent in conventional plants. The entire power output of the plant is supplied to SEC. JWAP,
through Tawreed, supplies 37.5 percent of the daily water production (300,000 cubic meters) to Marafiq for
distribution in Jubail Industrial City. The Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) takes up the other 62.5
percent (500,000 cubic meters) to supply other parts of the Eastern Province. With its 2,745 megawatt power capacity
and desalination output of 800,000 cubic meters per day, the IWPP in Jubail is the world’s largest integratedwater
and power facility.

which we are under them. The plant is expected to start operating with annual production capacity of 645,000 tons
petrochemical andwill be fed by 175,000 tons ethylene from ninth olefin plant of Array Sasol Complex, 40,000 tons of
benzene from the third aromaticplant of Bou Ali Sina Petrochemical Complex, and430,000 tons benzene from the
fourth aromaticplant of Borzouyeh Petrochemical Complex. The plants product will be used as feedstock by
monomer styrene plant of Arya Sasol Petrochemical Complex. When the plant is finished, Irans petrochemical
production will rise by 400,000 tons ethylene, 90,000 tons carbon 3 cuts, 300,000 ton medium and high density
polyethylene, as well as 300,000 tons low density polyethylene per year. The products will be used to make home
appliances, film, utensils, industrial parts, pipes, bags, and cable covering.

Qatargas is the world's largest liquefiednatural gas (LNG) company. The Qatargas offshore production, separation
and treatment facilities on the North Fieldare locatedabout 80 kilometers North-East of Qatar’s mainland. Twenty
production wells have been drilledand completedto supply 1,600 million standardcubic feet (45 million cubic
meters) of raw natural gas per day from the field’s reservoir, underneath the seabed. The processed gas is transferred

onshore LNG plant. The Onshore LNG plant occupies a site within Ras Laffan Industrial City on a plot of land 3.7

Mitsui 7.5% and Marubeni 7.5%. It owns three LNG trains 300 meters long each with original nameplate capacity of
two mtpa each. When the Debottlenecking Project completedwill be result with a total combined capacity of 10
