This document summarizes the findings of the 2013 Transatlantic Trends survey conducted in 13 countries. The survey was conducted by telephone interviews with a random sample of approximately 1,000 people ages 18 and older in each country between June 3-27, 2013. The results show attitudes toward issues like relations between the US and EU, views on leadership in world affairs, the economic crisis, immigration, and Turkey. Key topics covered in the survey are described.

Metodologia
Questo è il dodicesimo anno dell’indagine Transatlantic Trends dell’opinione pubblica
Europea e Americana. L’inchiesta è stata realizzata da TNS Opinion in 13 paesi:
Francia, Italia, Germania, Olanda, Polonia, Portogallo, Regno
Unito, Romania, Slovacchia, Spagna, Stati Uniti, Svezia e Turchia. L’indagine è stata
condotta telefonicamente (via Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews – CATI) in tutti i
paesi, eccetto Polonia, Romania, Slovacchia e Turchia, dove, a causa della minore
penetrazione telefonica, sono state usate interviste faccia-a-faccia.
In tutti I paesi, un campione casuale di circa 1.000 persone, di età eguale o superiore ai
18 anni, sono state intervistate, nel periodo tra il 3 ed il 27 Giugno, 2013. In
Turchia, l’indagine è stata sospesa per una settimana e le interviste completate entro il
2 Luglio 2013.
Per risultati basati sul campione nazione in ciascuno dei 13 paesi esaminati, si può
avere una fiducia del 95% nel sostenere che il massimo margine di errore è di +/ - 3%.
