3. INTRODUCTION:
As we have 5 senses “sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch”
out of these senses vision is one of the most important.
About 40% of brain is used in sense of sight and in our
society some persons haven’t that gift and they are called
BLIND or visually impaired person in medical terms it is
called DIPLOPIA.
As we know that Architects are social scientist so they have
to do something for that blind persons because they are
part of our society and to feel the whole environment
through special spaces and experience the beauty of nature
without any guide or support.
4. MOTIVATION
As we know that 40% of brain is used for sense of vision but if a
person haven’t that sense so he/she use that power in other senses
and it is scientifically proven that blind person have more powerful
senses then normal person
15.1 million Male and 15.7 million female are blind in the USA (WHO
report 2010)
1.14 million are blind in Pakistan (NCPB 2006)(National committee for
the preventation of blindness )
And the number is increasing that is 2 million in 2010 by
Dr.M.Shahnawaz (Ophthalmologist and porton in chief of disabled
welfare association)
5. In the presence of rules and regulation for such
disable person we didn’t have any specific build
environment

6. OBJECTIVES:
Experiencing the unseen world through architectural spaces.
Framing the artwork of disable persons.
Experiencing the colors of nature through properties of that
color.
Embracing the disabilities in society.
Developing a complete sensory experience for visually
impaired in making them a part of community employment.

CONCLUSION:
This project will help in improving the ability and will
give social justice to blind persons and will give the
opportunity to frame their work and experience the
beauty of nature without any hesitation.
