I am proud to have worked with and managed Irene Bernier for 1.5 years at Verizon Communications.
Irene is an excellent employee with a solid work ethic.
Irene has been an employee of Verizon for over 20 years and has held multiple positions within the
company, with a lengthy assignment in Accounts Payable. She came to my organization from AP to
learn the Finance side of the business and quickly assimilated herself into the team. Irene brought with
her excellent research skills in multiple accounting systems used by Verizon. She actively shared her
knowledge with others on the team to improve their research capabilities.
Irene worked for me as a Financial Analyst and supported a Vice President and multiple Directors in an
Operations group. She was responsible for creating annual budgets, providing monthly variance
reporting, analyzing financial issues and leading special projects/providing reporting for the overall
Senior Vice President Operations organization as required.
Irene is an advanced Excel user, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, skilled at
generating SAP and PeopleSoft reports, and knowledgeable of other financial tools including Smartview.
