Labour Welfare means providing services or provision to workers which

Labour welfare is a flexible concept it differs from place to place, time to
time, culture to culture etc.

According to Committee constituted on Labour welfare in 1966
Such services, Facilities, Sanitary, and medical facilities,
arrangements for travel to and from work and for the
accommodations of workers employed at a distance from their
homes and such other services, amenities and facilities including
social security measures as contribute to improve the conditions
under which workers are employed.
Labour welfare services include all extramural and intramural
work , statutory and non statutory, welfare facilities undertaken
by the employers, Governments, Trade unions or voluntary
agencies.
