History
• Nehemia Tanzania begun in early 1990s
• It is a Christian organization
• Begun due to a burden by Missionary Hans Djuka to help
increasing orphans in Kagera region, Tanzania
• Together with Hans Djuka, other key people at beginning
were Johannes Kasimbazi (current director) and Mr.
Werner Drotleff (Rtd. Director)

Nehemiah Tanzania has presence in 4 major
locations
▪ Dar es Salaam: Headquarters
▪ Morogoro: where there is an orphanage
(Agape Children’s Village) and a kindergarten
▪ Manyara: Maasailand project where there is
school, water projects and farm projects
▪ Kemondo Children’s Home: where there is an
orphanage and school projects

The Orphanage
▪ The orphanage currently has 104
children
▪ They live in family houses with
parent like guardians
▪ Currently there are 8 family
houses
▪ The orphanage children are
supported by donors

The schools
Bethania Primary School
▪ Begun: 2000 to give orphans and surrounding
community quality education at affordable fees
▪ Currently the primary school has 468 children
Bethania Technical Secondary School
▪ Begun: 2014
▪ Quality and affordable + practical skills (not all
Tanzanians student access university)
▪ Currently sec. school has 231 students
The primary school run itself, the secondary school is
in its initial phase

Our youth manpower
▪ Some of our youths after completion of their studies
come back to the organization
▪ Some currently volunteer and others are employed as
teachers, nurses and accountants
