This is a fundraising campaign in support of the NGO Street Child UK to help rebuild schools in the communities worst-affected by the earthquake in Nepal. I will join the Nepali team and work with them to implement projects and initiate new ones. Here's an overview of Street Child projects run in Nepal.
2. STREET CHILD
• Street Child Street Child is a non-governmental organization, dedicated to
empowering vulnerable children through education in some of the world’s
poorest countries.
• Street Child began our work in Sierra Leone in 2008 working with a small
number of street children. Nine years later, the organization have helped to
transform the lives of more than 60,000 children across Sierra Leone, Liberia
and Nepal. In 2016 we launched our first project in Nigeria helping children
impacted by conflict in the North East to access education. In 2017 Street Child
has started to help Sri-Lanka communities through education projects.
• Nick Hewer has been a Street Child ambassador since 2014; as part of Red
Nose Day 2017, singer Ed Sheeran and comedian Russell Howard travelled to
Liberia to visit and support our projects helping street children into a safe
home and back to school.

A SAFE HOME AND AN EDUCATION”

communities in Kathmandu and in the nearby territories, Street Child worked
closely with UNICEF to re-build 40 Transitional Learning Centers to ensure
education support to vulnerable children and completed 36 water sanitation
and hygiene facilities.
• Street Child was nominated the leading organization in the field of Education

projects run by Street Child in Nepal which I would like to support as well
with a small funding initiative. I am asking your help to achieve the amount
of £ 1000 to be given in full to the Nepali Team to finalise few education
projects as well as WASH facilities. I will soon be part of their team and will
monitor closely the implementation of the projects.
