3. Happy Birthday goes out to Campbell in
grade 8 and Maya in grade 1 on the
weekend.
Green Team assisting at our Recycling
Depot today is the day 5 green team Kaitlyn
O, Graham, Adrianna, Christine and Briar

4. Announcements
Student committee members will be coming to
classes today for a simple art activity.
Congratulations to our boys basketball team on
two fantastic games last night. Everyone played
hard and we met our goals. Practice is at
second recess today.

Today we are announcing a new campaign and
it is called the jewel broom award and it is for
the class that has the most neatest clothes
rack.

Just a friendly reminder from the Green Team. Your
class is responsible for sorting your own cross
contamination at the Recycling Depot. There are
gloves available to use. The best way to avoid
picking through your class’ waste to sort cross
contamination is to always put your waste in the
correct bins. If you are uncertain which bin your
waste should go in, ask a Green Team member.

The Intermediate Girls volleyball team will have
a quick meeting today in the pit after the
announcements.
Don’t forget to keep bringing in those clothes
and shoes for the clothing drive keep up the
good work.

8. Eco Daily Message
Engineers in Idaho have invented an impact
resistant glass solar tile that is strong enough to
pave roadways. Self-powered streets and
parking lots could light up at night with built-in
LED lights, solar tiled roads could warm up to
clear snow and ice and even power recharging
stations for electric cars.
