An overview
A Glimpse of Natural Polymers Division
Ruchi Soya, one of India’s top five FMCG companies, has forayed into the supply
of high quality Guar Powder, Guar Splits, Guar Meal, Korma, Tamarind Kernel
Powder and Sesbania Gum Powder. The commercial production of Guar Gum
powder commenced on March, 2012 at a new unit in Kandla, Gujarat.
The natural polymer division manufactures powder for oil-well grade in
addition to various industrial and essential food grades. The Company has
established itself today as a leading supplier of these products worldwide.
Annual Installed Capacity at the plant*
50,000 MTPA
*An expansion in capacity of 50,000 MTPA for Guar Gum Powder is planned
to be installed to enhance the total capacity to 1,00,000 MTPA in a phased
manner, which will aim at meeting the increasing Guar demand. The civil
structure, ancillary services and other similar infrastructure has already been
installed.
Capacity expansion for different applications
Ruchi Soya is planning to commence production of cationic guar powder for
cosmetics, personal care, among others
The Company is planning to add various grades of Gaur derivatives and food
grade powder to its product portfolio.

2 ½ minutes checked on Fann 35 at 300 rpm for oil exploration application
