About the Crop
Mango (Mangifera indica L) is one of the choicest and most ancient fruits known to mankind.
It occupies a pre-eminent place amongst the sub-tropical fruits hence while doing mango

along with good rainfall and dry atmosphere. But, at the time of owering, low

for squash in coastal western zone. The wood is used as timber, and dried
twigs are used for religious purposes. The mango kernel also contains about
8-10% good quality fat which can be used for saponi cation. Its starch is used
in confectionery industry.
