2. SOLUTION
To analyze all the possible cause of the problem, we constructed a cause-and-effect
diagram, shown in previous slide. The main problem, quality of education in JU is the
head of the diagram. We brainstormed all the possible causes and we found several
major categories: classroom, political, accessories, research and development and
others factors that are beyond managerial control. Several suspected causes identified
for each major categories.
DECISION POINT
We, with our excellent analytical ability of the process, suspected that most of the poor
educational quality were caused by problem with “Research and Development”.

3. Consequently, we had :

Insufficient number of teacher
Poor infrastructure
slow process of publishing result
unskilled administrative human recourses etc. examined.
We learn that obsolete education system, Insufficient higher research,
Insufficient number of teacher for associated department are the main reason
of poor educational quality in Jahangirnagar University.
