4. Love for Human Being
• The Holy book Quran treats human beings as
equally valuable and endowed with certain
rights by virtue of simply being human, hence
Human rights.
• The rights bestowed upon humans in the
Quran include the right to life and peaceful
living, as well as the right to own, protect, and
have property protected, Islamic economic

7. RIGHT TO LIFE AND PEACEFUL
LIVING
• Whosoever kills a human being without (any
reason like) man slaughter, or corruption on earth,
it is as though he had killed all mankind [5:32].
• You shall not kill any person - for Allah has made
life sacred - except in the course of justice. If one
is killed unjustly, then we give his heir authority
to enforce justice. Thus, he shall not exceed the
limits in avenging the murder, he will be helped
[17:33].
8. RIGHT TO OWN AND PROTECT
PROPERTY
• As soon as he leaves, he roams the earth
corrupting, destroying properties and lives.
ALLAH does not love corruption [2:205].
• O you who believe, do not consume each
others' properties illicitly - only mutually
acceptable transactions are permitted. You
shall not kill yourselves. ALLAH is Merciful
towards you [4:29].
9. RIGHTS OF MINORITIES AND
OTHER RELIGIOUS GROUPS
• Proclaim: "This is the truth from your Lord," then
whoever wills let him believe, and whoever wills
let him disbelieve [18:29].
• Do you know who really rejects the faith? That is
the one who mistreats the orphans. And does not
advocate the feeding of the poor. And woe to
those who observe the contact prayers (Salat) -
who are totally heedless of their prayers. They
only show off. And they forbid charity [107:1-7].
10. WOMEN'S RIGHTS
• The divorcees also shall be provided for,
equitably. This is a duty upon the righteous
[2:241].
• Do not approach (the bounds of) adultery (17:32).
• With regards to women's rights the Quran
dedicates one chapter of its one-hundred and
fourteen chapters to women which is evident from
the very name of the chapter, Women (AN-
NISA).[28]

Love for Animal
12. Love for Animals
• All living beings – humans, birds, animals, insects etc.
– are worthy of consideration and respect. Islam has
always viewed animals as a special part of God’s
creation. Mankind is responsible for whatever it has at
its disposal, including animals whose rights must be
respected.
• The Holy Qur’an, the Hadith, and the history of
Islamic civilization offer many examples of kindness,
mercy, and compassion for animals. According to
Islamic principles, animals have their own position in
the creation hierarchy and humans are responsible for
their well-being and food.

14. HOLY QURAN AND ANIMAL
WELFARE
• The Holy Quran contains many examples and
directives about how Muslims should treat animals.
The Quran describes that animals form communities,
just as humans do:
• “There is not an animal that lives on the earth, nor a
being that flies on its wings, but they form
communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from
the Book, and they all shall be gathered to their Lord
in the end”(Quran 6:38).
15. HADITH AND RIGHTS OF
ANIMALS
• Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)
exhorted Muslims to show kindness and
compassion towards animals and birds, and
repeatedly forbade cruelty towards animals.
• “Whoever is merciful even to a sparrow, Allah
will be merciful to him on the Day of Judgment.”
• “A good deed done to an animal is like a good
deed done to a human being, while an act of
cruelty to an animal is as bad as cruelty to a
human being.”

Love for Plant Life
17. HADITH AND RIGHTS OF
ANIMALS
Islamic tradition is rich in references about our
responsibility as Muslims to act as stewards of the
environment. The Quran also has numerous passages that
describe the lush gardens and trees in heaven, highlighting
their value not only in this world but their significance in the
hereafter. There are several sayings from the Prophet
Muhammad (SAW) that relate the importance of trees and
plants in Islam.
18. IMPORTANCE OF TREES
ACCORDING TO PROPHET
MUHAMMAD (SAW)
• Planting trees is regarded as an act of charity (sadaqa)
and the planter receives blessings from all those who
benefit from it:
Allah's Messenger ( ﷺ( said, "There is none amongst the
Muslims who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a
bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, but is
regarded as a charitable gift for him."
19. IMPORTANCE OF TREES
ACCORDING TO PROPHET
MUHAMMAD (SAW)
• Trees are to be treated with respect and not to be
unnecessarily harmed:
"I was throwing stones at a date-palm belonging to
some of the Ansar. They tool me along with them to the
Prophet (.)ﷺ He said: "O Rafi'! Why were you throwing
stones at their date-palm?'" He said: "I said: 'Out of
hunger, O Messenger of Allah! He said: 'Do not throw
stones at them, eat what falls. May Allah fill you and
quench your thirst.'"
