 Long standing case- bullous keratopathy

6. ETILOGY
1. Inflammatory : corneal ulcer, corneal erosions,
acute iridocyclitis { due to endothelial damage}.
2. Traumatic:- mechanical trauma & post surgical
trauma.
3. Increase IOP
4. Hypoxia of the cornea
5. Dystrophic condition of eye.

7. SYMPTOMS
 DECREASE VISUAL ACUITY
 COLORED HALOS.

8. TREATMENT
 HOT AIR (by hair dryer)
 Sodium chloride (5 % ) drop or ointment (6%)
 Glycerine drop ( to clear edema quickly &
temporarly)
