1. Analysis of A Girl like Her teaser trailer.
This is one of the first
things shown in the
teaser trailer for A
Girl like her. This sets
the scene straight
away and tells the
audience a lot about
the movie as you can
see where the films is
based, the age of the
main characters and
get an insight to the
issues dealt with in
the film

2. We meet the main character here,
handheld filming is used. This
makes the whole film more
personal as it feels very real. You
get more of an insight into the
character and storyline as she is
introducing herself and discussing
her life.
This title shows a soft, neutral
coloured background which
leavers the audiences attention
to the writing. This title causes
the main view to be on the words
‘Knows’ as they are highlighted in
red. This could suggest to the
audience that that word is
important and key in the film

3. At this point the happy upbeat mood
created changes dramatically, this is
the signal of this which I think works
well as the black and white effect
takes away all the colour which
immediately makes the atmosphere
more serious
This is where we meet
another key character, there is
a massive difference in the
introduction of her due to the
characters facial expressions
and the close up shot used to
show this.

4. The end of the teaser trailers shows a
series of fast flashing images depicting
messages on social network sites, as
well as the writing on the messages
shows the sinister side of the film to
the audience, the sound has changed
dramatically to accompany this by
quickening the pace and becoming
deeper.
This is the final title the audience
are left with showing the name
of the film, I believe this is shown
last as anyone watching the
trailer is more likely to remember
the last thing they see rather
than the first.
