此圖可資與展品125「滿江春水長魚蝦」作一比對。前者白描魔鬼魚和蝦
的輪廓，此圖則以水墨染畫魔鬼魚，墨色變化表現了其姿態質感，並補充
描畫河豚、蝦隻及水藻，成為完整畫作。其章法位置經營頗受東洋畫影
響。展品123，124兩幀「我所欲」畫稿及畫作，亦屬同類型作品，風格大
致無異，當屬同一時期之作。
“Fishes and Shrimps”, Exhibits 126 and 125 provide another comparison
of a sketch and the completed work. The former outlines devil fish and
shrimps with simple, plain lines while this piece uses variation of ink
tones to depict the devil fish and its posture. Puffer fish, shrimps and
algae are added to complete the painting, which also shows a faint
influence of Japanese painting. Exhibits 123 and 124 “What I Want” and
“Fishes” are respectively a sketch and its completed work, with similar
pictorial treatment and should belong to the same period.
