According to the Christian Children's Fund, it costs only 82 cents to give a person basic nourishment for the day. That's less than the cost of a can of
soda. Being constantly malnourished, their immune systems eventually begin to break down and they become weaker and often sick. This makes them
increasingly less able to work, which then makes them even poorer and hungrier. This downward spiral often continues until death for them and their
families. Poverty isn't just caused by just one thing, there are many interrelated factors that contribute to poverty. One is education. Lack of education
keeps people from obtaining jobs that would help take them and their families out of poverty. Children are often held back from their education
because they have to stay at home and support their families by working. Another factor is health. Poor health decreases the amount of
work–impoverished individuals can do, lowering their income and driving them deeper into poverty. If a certain keystone member of a family dies,
such as the husband or father, the rest of the family will have to work much harder to make up for the loss in income. Economics also contribute to
poverty. The poor often have very limited economic choices– they are often prevented from receiving loans and other financial benefits. This makes it

In discussions of World Hunger, one controversial issue has been that supermarkets, restaurants and people have wasted and thrown out edible food

The Earth is no stranger to copious continent–wide concerns, despite all of the advancements humankind has made in both societal and technological
manners. The livelihoods of those living in underdeveloped countries are most under attack by these prevalent problems, for it is often that the
governments find themselves unable to sustain the solutions to such widespread snags. Arguably, the worst part about the whole affair is that these
issues have been occurring for a long period of time – and even worse, they are ubiquitous throughout the history of the world. Yet, populations live

In Sierra Leone there are sufficient wood and marine resources, a large diamond industry, other mineral industries and agriculture. Unfortunately

When you have no money, you can 't buy anything, and you can 't do anything. So, which also means you can 't get food and when you have no
food, you go hungry. Poverty is the root of many social problems, so if we help solve poverty, many social problems will end. Some social
problems that stem off of poverty are hunger, homelessness, and nutritional content. World Hunger can be caused by poverty, job instability, food
shortages and waste, poor infrastructure, unstable markets, climate change, war and conflict nutritional quality, and discrimination. There 's not
much history that has led to this social problem; it just stems off of a lot of issues. Job instability can cause hunger because the job pays too little,
or they lose their job and have trouble getting into a new job. Poor infrastructure causes hunger because it makes it difficult or nearly impossible to
transport food to areas. There has been cases when people have died in regions with no food, but they 're right next to a region with plenty of food.
"Women and girls in developing countries spend hours each day fetching water because of a lack of infrastructure, pulling women away from other
productive activities and girls out of school." Unstable markets also can cause hunger. Many families can barely keep their own family stable. Any
