Cooper Corporation has entered into a technical tie-up with RICARDO, UK for the design and
manufacture of state-of-the-art diesel engines that meet current & emerging emission norms.
Available in gas as well as diesel variants with HPs ranging from 26 to 340, the engines find
application worldwide in areas as diverse as generators, agriculture, construction equipment,
marine and automobiles.
2. Designation: Engineer Machine Shop/Manufacturing Engineer.
Duration: Aug2011 to present
Notice Period: 4 weeks
Current CTC: 2.8 lac per annum
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate activities of Engineering, Tool Design, purchasing, Application & Other
departments, to facilitate procurement of tooling.
• Timely clearance of Commercial terms related to every procurement.
• Preparation, monitoring & effective implementation of M/C shop Capital &
consumable Budget.
• Supervising engineering and Technical Staff related to Projects.
• Leadership role for many Cost saving projects related to machine shop
• Continuous Improvement for productivity & fulfilling requirement of assembly.
• Clear and effective documentation of the tool layouts for new
product development tools
• Drive continuous improvement in the manufacturing process through
Kaizens in the areas of cycle time, cost of process including but not
limited to consumables, improved delivery to customer and safety of
man & machine.
• Study the tooling package & work independently for cycle time
reduction of parts
• Study the process / routing in relation with fixtures / tools and
readiness for the prove out
• Implementation of product design changes with modification in processes and in
house tooling.
• Technological up-gradation of in house manufacturing processes
• Support to prototyping in new product development.
3. TECHNICAL PROJECTS
Development of Cylinder block, Cylinder Head and various other Engine component
The project included selection of Machine, Machine tools & appropriate machining process,
cutting tools, cutter path pattern, selection of feed, speed, depth of cut & other machining
parameters, CNC programming, streamlining of production, numerous improvement to overall
product cost, manufacturability.
SAP Implementation.
Support & provide the required data for material Master creation to SAP core team, which dealt
with Design Data, Material Description, Procurement related data & Account related Data,
Creation of bill of material of all engine components, Work as mediator between SAP Core
Team and end user, Mentor end user.
Technical And Commercial Proposals For New Components (RFQ).
Proposal workout starting from Drawing, process, m/c selection , fixture concepts, Tooling cycle
time, Shift output & Cost of each & Every stage. Ex. Strong back GE, Cylinder Head GE,
Flywheel CATERPILLAR
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-
• B.E(MECHANICAL) from PVPIT,Sangli Shivaji University in 2011 with 61 %.
• HSC from Willingdon college, Sangli in 2007 with 64.83 % (MH-CET 142/200).
• SSC from Shriram Ramdayal Malu High-school, Sangli in 2005 with 70.26 %.
ACHIVEMENT
• Winner of outstanding performance in company (cooper corp. Satara) During Training
Period.
