INTRODUCING
The Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Ltd. (HDDCF) is
engaged in procurement and processing of milk and manufacturing of milk
products under the famous market brand "Vita". A range of Vita Products is
including Pasteurized Full Cream Milk, Standard Milk, Toned Milk, Double Toned
Milk in pouches Ghee, Table Butter Paneer,, Sweetened Flavored Milk, Mithi lassi,
Namkeen lassi, Chhach, Dahi, Kheer, Milk Cake, Kaju Pinni, Ice Cream, etc.
OBJECTIVES OF THE COMPANY
– A readymade market to milk producers at their doorstep
– To give remunerative prices to the milk producers for milk.
– To collect and transport milk efficiently to chilling centers / milk plants.
– To process milk and convert the same into milk & milk products.
– To make good quality milk & milk products available to the consumers at reasonable price.
– To purchase / erect buildings, plant & machinery etc. to carry out the business and advise / assist the milk unions in such matters.
– To procure milk by forming village level milk cooperative societies or through dairy farms.
– To arrange transportation of milk from village cooperative societies to bulk milk coolers / chilling centres and further to milk plants.
– To process milk at milk plant level and convert the same into milk products and arrange for the storage.
– To sell milk & milk products to public through milk booths , distributors, retailers & societies
– To provide ghee, cattle feed, mineral mixture & seeds etc. to village level milk cooperative societies for further sale to producer members.
– To provide training (by outsourcing) to staff & milk producers for business operation
– Marketing Network
FUNCTION
Vita products are manufactured from milk procured from Village Level Dairy
Cooperative Societies and processed at our own Milk Plants which are ISO and
HACCP certified. Vita milk products are known for their quality and good taste
not only in Haryana but entire Northern Region. The sale of Vita products also
contributes to the economic upliftment and welfare of farmers of Haryana who
provide us milk through the village level milk cooperative societies.
Dairy Cooperatives in Haryana
works as per the following three
tier system
 The village level societies collect milk from milk producers and sell it to Milk Union. Earlier Milk Unions were selling
milk to the plants run by the Federation. Since 1-4-92 the Federation has leased out the Plants to the Milk Unions. So
now Milk Unions process the milk and convert the same into products at Milk Plants taken on lease by them from
Federation. The sale of Milk and Milk products is undertaken by milk unions through distributors, milk booths &
retailers.
 Dairy Cooperatives in Haryana functioning on three tier system
Societies at village level:
Milk producers in a village join together to form village Dairy Cooperatives Societies. The society is managed by the
producers themselves
Milk Unions at District level:
The Milk Cooperative Societies of one or more district come together to form Milk Unions. These are managed by the
representatives of milk producers elected from amongst the chairman of Coop. societies. At present, there are six.

SIRSA DISTRICT COOPERATIVE MILK
PRODUCER UNION LTD.(SIRSA)
The Sirsa District Cooperative Milk Producer Union Ltd Sirsa a cooperative organization is situated
at a distance of 5 km from the city near village Begu. This organization registered on 11.01.1978
vides Registration No. 711 getting affiliation with The Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative
Federation Ltd, Panchkula.
This Plant has also got registration from Govt. of India with under FSSAI vide Registration No.
10012064000137 Dated 27.08.2012.
This Plant manufactures Ghee, Milk powder, Pouch milk, Dahi, Lassi and Kajju Pinni. Quality of
Ghee has been approved as special Grade by Ag-Mark Milk Powder approved as Extra Grade
(Part II), IS-13334(Part II)
Quality - VITA the Hallmark of
Quality
As part of stringent quality measures, milk required for processing VITA products is procured
from Dairy Cooperative Societies only. It is ensured that the milk is transported to chilling centers
and plants in clean and sterilized milk cans as quickly as possible. All quality measures as per
Standard of Bureau of Indian Standards/Agmark are being applied before the products are
marketed. Well-equipped laboratories are functioning in the chilling centers and milk plants to
maintain ideal quality standards.
VITA is the endorsement of quality, a commendation they are Proud of.
Vision & Mission
Vision- Provide quality dairy products like Ghee, Powder, Paneer, Dahi, Lassi, Packed Milk, Kajju Pinni
to consumers at affordable prices while ensuring fair returns to the producers. Purchase, pool, process,
manufacture, distribute and market commodities of the members and other without affecting the
interest of the members.
Mission– Milk Plant Sirsa to the cooperative movement in Haryana. With determination& pride we
will continue to serve our farmers, rural India & our consumers. Our values reflect our identity and
quality of services which are conducive to the economic & socio economic and marketing of
commodities.
VITA PACKED MILK
It is used by the consumers as a nourishing health drink, whitener for tea, coffee & for making of
curd & sweets. It is consumed by general public including high risk group with or without further
processing except those who have been medically advised otherwise for not consuming in case of
lactose intolerance and allergen. It is intended for both retail &food service & should be stored
below 5º C continuously.

Dahi is used as such & as an ingredient for other food preparations. It is consumed by general public &
also by high risk population including infants, elderly, & immuno-compromised group. It is prepared from
milk which is an allergen and hence not intended for persons allergic to milk and milk products. It is
intended for both retail and food service and should be stored under refrigeration below 5ºC continuously.

Vita Paneer is made from fresh milk and retains all its freshness, nutrition and flavor by using the most advanced
techniques' Paneer is natural and hygienic and contains no preservatives or additives.
Paneer can be eaten raw, fried or cooked before consumption. It can be consumed by general public except those who
are suffering from lactose intolerance and allergic to milk and milk product. It is available for both retail and food
services. It is held under refrigeration till consumption.

Salted Lassi is in liquid form and it is ready to drink and ready for preparation for some other food
items. All general public can be used salted Lassi, self life of this product is stable up-to 5 days form the
dated of manufacturing when stored below 8*c.
Salted Lassi is packed in 200ml and 500ml of Poly film in cold storage below 8*c and it to be served
chilled for better taste. Salted Lassi intended for retail service and it should be stored in refer grater for
better taste and quality

  • 2. INTRODUCING The Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Ltd. (HDDCF) is engaged in procurement and processing of milk and manufacturing of milk products under the famous market brand "Vita". A range of Vita Products is including Pasteurized Full Cream Milk, Standard Milk, Toned Milk, Double Toned Milk in pouches Ghee, Table Butter Paneer,, Sweetened Flavored Milk, Mithi lassi, Namkeen lassi, Chhach, Dahi, Kheer, Milk Cake, Kaju Pinni, Ice Cream, etc.

OBJECTIVES OF THE COMPANY – A readymade market to milk producers at their doorstep – To give remunerative prices to the milk producers for milk. – To collect and transport milk efficiently to chilling centers / milk plants. – To process milk and convert the same into milk & milk products. – To make good quality milk & milk products available to the consumers at reasonable price. – To purchase / erect buildings, plant & machinery etc. to carry out the business and advise / assist the milk unions in such matters. – To procure milk by forming village level milk cooperative societies or through dairy farms. – To arrange transportation of milk from village cooperative societies to bulk milk coolers / chilling centres and further to milk plants. – To process milk at milk plant level and convert the same into milk products and arrange for the storage. – To sell milk & milk products to public through milk booths , distributors, retailers & societies – To provide ghee, cattle feed, mineral mixture & seeds etc. to village level milk cooperative societies for further sale to producer members. – To provide training (by outsourcing) to staff & milk producers for business operation – Marketing Network
  • 4. FUNCTION Vita products are manufactured from milk procured from Village Level Dairy Cooperative Societies and processed at our own Milk Plants which are ISO and HACCP certified. Vita milk products are known for their quality and good taste not only in Haryana but entire Northern Region. The sale of Vita products also contributes to the economic upliftment and welfare of farmers of Haryana who provide us milk through the village level milk cooperative societies.
  • 5. Dairy Cooperatives in Haryana works as per the following three tier system
  • 6.  The village level societies collect milk from milk producers and sell it to Milk Union. Earlier Milk Unions were selling milk to the plants run by the Federation. Since 1-4-92 the Federation has leased out the Plants to the Milk Unions. So now Milk Unions process the milk and convert the same into products at Milk Plants taken on lease by them from Federation. The sale of Milk and Milk products is undertaken by milk unions through distributors, milk booths & retailers.  Dairy Cooperatives in Haryana functioning on three tier system Societies at village level: Milk producers in a village join together to form village Dairy Cooperatives Societies. The society is managed by the producers themselves Milk Unions at District level: The Milk Cooperative Societies of one or more district come together to form Milk Unions. These are managed by the representatives of milk producers elected from amongst the chairman of Coop. societies. At present, there are six. SIRSA DISTRICT COOPERATIVE MILK PRODUCER UNION LTD.(SIRSA) The Sirsa District Cooperative Milk Producer Union Ltd Sirsa a cooperative organization is situated at a distance of 5 km from the city near village Begu. This organization registered on 11.01.1978 vides Registration No. 711 getting affiliation with The Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Ltd, Panchkula. This Plant has also got registration from Govt. of India with under FSSAI vide Registration No. 10012064000137 Dated 27.08.2012. This Plant manufactures Ghee, Milk powder, Pouch milk, Dahi, Lassi and Kajju Pinni. Quality of Ghee has been approved as special Grade by Ag-Mark Milk Powder approved as Extra Grade (Part II), IS-13334(Part II)
  • 10. Quality - VITA the Hallmark of Quality As part of stringent quality measures, milk required for processing VITA products is procured from Dairy Cooperative Societies only. It is ensured that the milk is transported to chilling centers and plants in clean and sterilized milk cans as quickly as possible. All quality measures as per Standard of Bureau of Indian Standards/Agmark are being applied before the products are marketed. Well-equipped laboratories are functioning in the chilling centers and milk plants to maintain ideal quality standards. VITA is the endorsement of quality, a commendation they are Proud of.

Vision & Mission Vision- Provide quality dairy products like Ghee, Powder, Paneer, Dahi, Lassi, Packed Milk, Kajju Pinni to consumers at affordable prices while ensuring fair returns to the producers. Purchase, pool, process, manufacture, distribute and market commodities of the members and other without affecting the interest of the members. It is consumed by general public including high risk group with or without further processing except those who have been medically advised otherwise for not consuming in case of lactose intolerance and allergen. It is intended for both retail &food service & should be stored below 5º C continuously.
