36. POINTS TO REMEMBER
The CEE will conduct Entrance Examination for
admission to Engineering Courses only. However,
candidates seeking admission to B.Pharm course
shall have to appear for and qualify in Paper-I
(Physics & Chemistry) of the Engineering Entrance
Examination.
37. Points to remember
Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. course
should compulsorily appear for and qualify in the
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)
conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA)
on or before 10.06.2018.

1.Nativity: Only Indian citizens are eligible for
admission to Professional courses unless otherwise
notified .
Candidates seeking admission to Professional Degree
courses will be categorised as :-

• Non-Keralite Category II (NK II).
39. A. KERALITE
A candidate of Kerala origin will be categorised as a
‘Keralite’. Only ‘Keralite’ candidates are eligible
for Communal/Special/Persons with Disabilities
reservation or any fee concession.
Required- Certificate showing that the candidate or
his/her father or mother was born in Kerala.
40. 'Non-Keralite Category I'(NK I).
Category I candidates will be considered against ‘State
Merit’ seats for Engineering/ Architecture/ B.Pharm/
Medical & Allied courses.
But they will not be eligible for Communal/ Special/
Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee
concession.
41. Non-Keralite Category II [NK II]:
Candidates who do not come under ‘Keralite’ or 'Non-
Keralite Category I' will be categorised as ‘Non-Keralite
Category II'.
the ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates will
be considered for admission only when the Keralite and
Non-Keralite I (NK I) candidates are not available for
admission.

43. II. Academic Qualification
(a) Medical & Allied Courses:
(i) For MBBS, BDS, BSMS:
Candidates who have passed in the subjects Physics,
Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in HSE,
or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50%
marks

Candidates who have passed in the subjects Physics,
Chemistry and Biology in the HSE or examinations
recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in
Biology separately, and 50% marks in Physics,

Biotechnology will not be considered as a subject for
academic eligibility.
45. III. For admission to BUMS course:
Passed the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology in
HSE or its equivalent examination with 50% aggregate
marks in the subjects and the candidate should have passed
(a) 10th standard with Urdu or Arabic or Persian language
as a subject or clear the test of Urdu in the Entrance
Examination conducted by the University or Board or
Registered Society authorized by the Government to
conduct such examination; or (b) pre-Tib examination
of one year duration.
46. IV. For admission to B.Sc.(Hons.)Agri., B.Sc.(Hons)
Forestry, BFSc courses:
Passed HSE with 50% marks in Biology separately, and
50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put
together, are eligible . Biotechnology will not be
considered as a subject for academic eligibility.
47. V.For admission to BVSc. & AH Course
Candidates should have secured not less
than 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics,
Chemistry and Biology for the qualifying
examination, in addition to the condition as
stipulated as above.
48. Engineering Courses
(i) Passed HSE or Examinations recognized as equivalent
thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50
% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put
together
45% marks for admission under Management Quota in
Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges/Government
Controlled Self Financing Engineering Colleges.
In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks
obtained in Computer Science shall be considered.
