  5. 5. Operating avatars After the lecture, participants can take turns operating avatars.
  6. 6. Involvement of university students Some of their ideas were realized. Raising the leaders of ESD by involving local university students in planning and operation (1) Environmental Quiz for lower elementary school students (2) Experience of VR and AR by smartphone (3) Environmental learning by using planetarium
  7. 7. Environmental Quiz For lower elementary school students who feel that the lecture is difficult If global warming progresses and sea level rises, will be some countries almost submerged? Question
  8. 8. If the global warming progresses and sea level rises, most parts of Tuvalu would be submerged. Answer: Yes
  9. 9. The number of participants increased. Some of them joined the event repeatedly. They got knowledge of global warming, and recognized the impact of the human activities. Some children became familiar with information technology and conducted research activities. Achievements
  10. 10. Achievements The research reports won prizes four times at the contest hosted by the Tsukuba University.
