2. What Question Tag is?
• A SHORT QUESTION which is added at the end
of statement to change it into YES or NO
question.
• We use COMMA(,) after statement and
QUESTION MARK(?) after question tag.
4. Examples
Examples:
It’s lunch time, isn’t it?
It isn’t raining, is it?
He works hard, doesn’t he?
He does not work hard, does he?
They attended a class, didn’t they?
5. How to add Question Tag?
• We add POSITIVE QUESTION TAG
with NEGATIVE STATEMENT.
• We add NEGATIVE QUESTION TAG
with POSITIVE STATEMENT.
