• Plastic pipes are preferable
• Expensive and Rare method
• Pipes buried under the soil to a
depth of about 20cm to 50cm
• Use of Porous pipes or perforated
pipes or Pipes with Emitters.
• Clogging due to Roots or Salts

Disadvantages
• Installation process need a lot
of time.

• Require regular maintenance.
• High initial cost.
• PVC pipes often suffer rodents
damage.
