2.  The genre that we think best fits the band that we
are going to use for our music video is indie rock.
Other indie rock artists for example are Red Hot
Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys andThe Killers.

3.  The band that we are going to use is a local band
called DearVictor who are made up of our friends
some from college some are not.They recently
recorded their first song ‘Debonair’ in an actual
recording studio and they have allowed us to use
that and themselves in the video, if they like the
video then they will post it to their actualYouTube
channel and use it.

4.  One idea that we had which we want to use is where
it starts with the band getting ready for practise and
having their practise session, it then switches to
them actually playing a gig.The song then ends
with flickers of the practise room and when the final
note is played it finishes in the practise room and
they walk off.There will be some shots of them
hanging out together in-between which is a
common theme in indie rock bands music videos.

5.  The two locations that we are using is the
practise room that they book out to practise
in:The Loft (in Long Eaton)
 Also the Southbank Bar in NottinghamCity
Centre where they played a gig, we got
permission to film there when we got there as
we spoke to the manager of the bar.

6.  The costumes that we asked them to wear for
the practise and the gig were dark coloured
casual clothing which replicates the
stereotypical costume that you find in indie
rock music videos.
 They also had their musical instruments as
their props as that is also the stereotypical
props that you find in indie rock music videos.
