Responsibilities:
DUTIES:
 Be familiar with U.A.E. Laws related to but not limited to alcohol service, tress
passing, and use of force, vagrancy, conduct and U.A.E. terms of acceptability...
 Maintain all Standard/Local Standard Operating Procedures as related to all Security
Control Rooms, Operations and Outlets.
 Know what special events & functions are scheduled for the day as well as the
hotel occupancy.
 Check who the Duty Manager and EOD.
 Having experience of handling up to 620 CCTVcameras with PTZ
 Control, checking footage & recording, making evidence etc.
 Check all register books, CCTV, Walkie talkie, computer as well destroy alcohol on
daily basis.
 Attend to all incidents no matter how small.(Make sure to prepare Incident,
Insurance report)
 Inform Engineering of any repairs needed and write a maintenance report
 Attend all fire alarm areas ASAP and report to concerned about the condition.
 Inform the Manager on Duty if any Police or government officials are on premise.
 Updating to the security supervisors or SM of the theft, staff irregularities to the staff
rules and regulation set out as per the policy of the hotel.
 To look after the safety and well being of all guests and colleagues making sure they
cause no harm to themselves and others due to unsafe conditions or unsafe act.
 Know thoroughly all Emergency Response Plans and Immediate Actions.
 Partake in relevant training sessions as provided by the Grand Millennium Dubai,
Human Resources Department.
 Contribute to improvement of the Security Department by sharing ideas & thoughts
with the Security Manager and security supervisors.
 Run all security shifts professionally and responsibly.
 Sent Daily Security Night Report to concerned Department on Daily Basis.
 Check the gate pass and ensure that the items taken out and brought are checked
and follow up with pending gate pass with the concerned dept. If required sent mail
to HOD about it.
 Sent security night report to HOD related to their dept (incident , hazardous and etc )
 Give wake up call for the guests as requested timing.
 Opening the safe box with the decoder for the guest following the hotel policy.
 Key Auditing Report for all the Dept and sent mail to concerned person.
 Monthly fire extinguisher checking in the hotel and the staff accommodations and
sending mail to concerned person.
 Handle guest complaint professionally and inform Concerned to do the needful and
follow up.
 Knowledge of how to take the door locks reading and set the date and time
accordingly.
 Stopping UDE (Undesired Element) diplomatically to entering to the hotel room as
per the UAE law.
