PRESIDENT
Mr John Nelson Cooray founder and
leader of JN Cooray Publishing House
Sdn Bhd is a self starter.
From humble beginnings in the
Hospitality Industry he quickly rose up
the ranks and served as F & B Manager
as well as Special Projects Manager for
Hotels and resorts in the Klang Valley
from 1989 to 1995.
Hence forth with experience he
boldly ventured into the publishing
business. Once again starting from the
bottom he is the founder and manager
of JN Cooray Publishing House Sdn
Bhd which has now published more
than 1,000 titles in both English and
Bahasa Malaysia.
With its extensive portfolio of
books, magazines and many other
publications the company continues to
build its brand and experience through
his leadership.
Gregory J Dennis
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Gregory Dennis has been involved in
creative and content development for
print, multimedia and television for
more than 30 years. He joined JN
Cooray Publishing House Sdn Bhd to
help augment and enhance the quality
of the JN Cooray brand.
Working in organisations such as
Articulate Multimedia, Articulate
Television and Smart Transact to name
a few, he was the producer in the
development of a host of projects,
applications and TV shows which have
had both a local and regional
audiences.
With his creative talent JN Cooray
continues to churn out useful and
trendy products and publications for a
demanding market.
Bruce Angus
COPYWRITER
Bruce Angus brings to the company
his varied experience from his time in
international and local agencies since
the 80’s.
The agencies he has worked for
include AP Compton, N.E.W.S,
Advantage Advertising, Adcom to
name a few.
Developing copy comes naturally to
him and he has since worked on
brands such as National, Canon,
Chubb, Lion products, Holiday Inn,
Ngan Yin groundnuts, Yee Lee oils,
Felda, Guthrie Development,
Multi-Purpose Development, Sunway
Development, Hong Leong
Development.
Jenny Sororajah
MARKETING DIRECTOR
Jenny Sororajah was appointed as
Marketing Director of JN Cooray
Publishing House Sdn Bhd to further
grow its client base. A graduate in
Accounting, specializing in Costing,
she also completed her degree in
Computer Programming in 1992.
Jenny has also vast experience in
managing and working with people
from her years in the corporate world
namely in Telecommunications,
Insurance and BPO as well as
Pharmaceutical and Courier industries.
A capable individual Jenny is
building and expanding the marketing
division of the company.
