SGX SENSORTECH LTD, Group CEO 2011 - 2014
Private Equity backed Global leading manufacturer of Gas and X-Ray Sensors.
Raised £15M private equity + mezzanine finance and purchased e2v’s sensor division
with 2 companies in UK and one company in Switzerland. Technologies include
Semiconductor, ElectroChemical, InfraRed, Gas and X-Ray sensors. Formed NewCo
SGX Sensortech Ltd. Restructured the business and created new plans to develop into
a leading global sensor business. Increased EBITDA from £2.5M to £3.5M. SGX is
on track for an exit and will achieve high capital gain for all investors.
HARDIDE PLC, Group CEO 2008 – 2011
AIM listed manufacturer of ultra-hard nano-engineered toughest metal coatings

VC backed development and manufacture of semiconductor gas sensors
Raised £3M investment from VCs (Rothschilds, Hambros & 3) + trade investment.
Built a force of 50 including a very strong management team at new purpose built
factory on science park near Oxford. Invested in automated manufacturing to produce
one million sensors annually. Developed key account strategy, and obtained prestige
contracts including supplying Renault with sensor module on every car. Sold to First
Technology/Honeywell £12M MM 4x. Excellent Capital Gain.

Led family owned company. Created and implemented a new strategy to position
business as a market driven internationally focused company then helped the family to
