WITH EMPIRE MERCHANTS
On Thursday, April 16th
, Terlato Artisan Spirits held a
cocktail reception for Empire Merchants to launch
their new spirits portfolio at Tandem in the Sanctuary
Hotel. The reception provided Empire employees
a chance to meet principals from three of Terlato’s
top suppliers: Iñaki Orozco, of Riazul Tequila;
Carlos Esquivel of Don Pancho Rum; and Jonathan
Zammit-Tabona of Langley’s No. 8 Gin.

, Atlantic Wines & Spirits, a division of
Empire Merchants, blitzed Manhattan with Crown
Royal Regal Apple. Team AWS took over many
good-time drinking accounts sampling customers
and training staff. They all enjoyed responsibly as a
shooter or with a splash of cranberry.

On May 4th
, Empire Merchants welcomed Virgil
Kaine Lowcountry Whiskey to NY with a gathering at
Fools Gold NYC. Industry insiders enjoyed neat and
mixed renditions of Virgil Kaine’s trio of spirits—the
award-winning Ginger Infused Bourbon, the newly
released Robber Baron Rye Whiskey and the High-
Rye Bourbon. The event marked the NY debut of the
distinctive line from Charleston, SC.
