• Main indicator of our Physical health,
• Our body replaced entirely in every 7 years
• Health disorders due to physical and mental reason
• Direct impact of all unseen levels of our existence
6. प्राणमय कोष
• Main Indicator of ‘Life’ in us
• This is an energy body, Life force which we get from Sun, Air,
Plants, subtle waves
• Satsanga, Darshan are the method of getting Prana energy
• Breath is the primary expression
• Works as a driving force of all activities
• Breath is the only means and Pranashakti is the aim
• Five Prana, in proper quantity and place, helps for good health
• Can become unstable due to Physical and Mental Provocation
7. मनोमय कोष
• All action of mind, made from thought waves,
• Thoughts are also food, mater, energy
• All actions and reactions related to thoughts and emotions
• Originates imbalance of panchkosha
• Fixed in clutches of past and future
• Pranamaya is bridge between Annamaya and Manomaya
• Flickering nature is the actual problem
• Does not destroy due to death of Annamaya body
• Do not take any action while knowing – right or wrong
8. विज्ञानमय कोष
• Intellectual level
• Made from consciousness, knowledge
• Stable all times
• Element of rationality makes it different
• Decisive in nature
• Always goes for correct knowledge to remove false knowledge
• Dhyana is energy, power, most purified form of power
• Dharana and Dhyana will develop this body
9. आनंदमय कोष
• Basic existence is blissful only, body but not soul
• Also known as Karana sharir, Ling Sharir, Hriday Guha
• This is the purest body, sheath
• Exists on micro level
• Not based on means but on proper Sadhana
• Can be experienced in deep sleep
• Most close to Atman
• Necessary to break this body to attain moksha, Nirvana.
• Only experienced and beyond description

• Gets distorted due to disturbed Manomaya Kosha
• False knowledge leads to negative and increases thoughts
• Due to mental chaos wrong decision and unending vicious circle
