5. Steps to Practice MSRT
1. Opening prayer “om tryambakaà…”
2. (a) Loud A, U, M and AUM – 3/ 5rounds
(b) Ahata – Anahata A…U…M… and AUM… 3/5
rounds
3. (a) Ahata chanting of MahaMurutyunjaya Mantra
(3/5 rounds)
(b) Ahata – Anahata chanting of Maha
Murutyunjaya Mantra (3/5 rounds)
4 . Anahata AUM (Mental Repetition of AUM) 9
rounds
5. Ajapajapa OM to silence (Spontaneous effortless
process) – 9 rounds
6. Stay in silence
7. Resolve – 9times
8. Closing prayer “sarve bhavantu…” 5

7. Concept of Mind
• according to modern science mind is the
functions of the brain cells
• according to PYS “Citta Vritti Nirodhaha”
• Vrittis: Pramana, Viparyay, Vikalpa, Nidra,
Smriti
• “Tadaa drasthuh svaroope avasthaanam”
7
8. What is Mind ?
energy wasted
No connections between thought
we are, what we think we are
8
9. • The grossest part of the brain is
cancalata
• Ekagrata result to saving the energy
• ekagrata is reduced to one subject
with several thought
• brought to one subject and to single
thought
• “TADAA DRASTUH SVAROOPE
AVASTHAANAM”

10. sound is form of energy travels in the form of wave
Concept of Sound
10
11. Concept of Sound
sound is the form of energy travels in the form of wave one
point to another point with compresion and rerefraction,
crest and trough 11
14. •Resonance occurs when the driving frequency is
equal to the natural frequency, this causes the
oscillator to oscillate at maximum amplitude.
•when the extranal frequency matches the natural
frequency resonance happence eg: Soldiers
marching on the ridge
Concept of Resonance:
14
15. Damping: forces resist motion, causing energy to be lost from the
oscillating system so the amplitude of oscillation reduces.
Natural damping occurs in oscillating systems as friction or air resistance, this is
why the oscillations will eventually stop. Shock absorbers in car suspensions are
an example of artificial damping. They reduce the amplitude of oscillations so
that the car is comfortable and the vibrations don’t cause damage.
15
16. Natural and forced oscillations
•Natural frequency is the frequency at which
systems oscillate when undergoing free oscillation.
•Forced oscillations occur when a driving force is
applied to an oscillating system, this system will
oscillate at the driving frequency – the frequency of
the driving force.
16
17. Resonance
•Resonance occurs when the extranal frequency is
equal to the natural frequency, this causes the oscillator
to oscillate at maximum amplitude.
•When damping is also introduced to an object
undergoing resonance, it will alter two factors:
•Increased damping reduces amplitude of oscillations
•Increasing damping slightly reduces the frequency
with maximum amplitude
17
18. A graph of amplitude against frequency for different levels
of damping
18
20. Examples of resonance
•Resonance can be useful but can also be annoying or dangerous.
• Examples of useful resonance include:
1.Tuning circuits – in TVs and radios, resonating at particular
frequencies
•Resonance also can have dangerous or annoying effects:
1.Bridges and tall buildings can vibrate in wind or earthquakes
2.Loudspeakers, if designed badly, can produce louder sounds
from particular frequencies of electrical signal as they cause the
loudspeaker to resonate.
20
22. The difference between Ahata & Anahata
Ahata Anahata
effort effertless
loudly in the mind
recognising bahyakasa recognising citakasa
physical space space between mind
efforts gradually decreases at the end we drop the effort
finally waves comes from toes to the head & deffuse into
the space
22
23. Aum Tryambakam yajaamahe sugandhim pushtivardhanam |
Urvaarukamiva bandhanaan-mrityormuksheeya maamritaat ||
The Meaning of the Mantra
We worship the three-eyed One, who is fragrant and who
nourishes all.
Like the fruit falls off from the bondage of the stem, may we be
liberated from death, from mortality. 23
25. Silence
25
• Multiple reflections of single sound wave
sophisticated of sound
• Mantra has 2D: Exoteric and Esoteric
• Exoteric is Gross Experience (CM)
• Esoteric is subtler level experience
26. 26
• while practicing MSRT observation of resonannce
subtler than the gross---less gross---less gross---esoteric
it mean started observing the different layers of silennce

27. Resolve
27
• Vibooti pada of PYS: Patanjali maharshi explains
about siddhis as you think so you become, you are the
master of your own mind
• Swamy Vivekananda says “ Man is the maker of his
own destiny”
• Resolve is sankalpa
• it is a positive statement
• it is short 6 to 8 words
• it should from heart and faith
• should repeat 9 rounds in mind
28. Benefits Of MSRT
• it improves the awareness
• it is helpfull to cancer patients
• highly depressed and anxiety person
• mind comes into the present
• unfold the deeper levels of silence
