2. THIRD CONDITIONAL
The third conditional is a structure used for talking about unreal situations
in the past. Something that didn’t happen.
It is also used to express regrets. Examples:
If I had studied harder, I would have passed the exam.
If I had known, I wouldn't have done that.
STRUCTURE:
If + subject + past perfect + subject + would/could/might + have +
past participle
