2. MUST
EVERYONE
ALWAYS BE
MOTIVATED?
2
◍ It is important to see that
each individual person must
be viewed as a whole. It is
fascinating to note the way
that men and women in
today’s society move with
apparent ease between
their work, recreation,
family life, social
responsibility, workship,
politics, and a host of the
involvements
3. FINDING
SELF-
MOTIVATED
PEOPLE
◍.One of the best ways of
finding motivated people
is to let them themselves.
As individuals participate
in the goal setting and
planning of an
organization or its
projects, they will feel a
sense of ownership for the
goals and the plans

4. MAINTAINING
MOTIVATION
Motivation can be increased by giving people
opportunities to participate in more things
which they feel capable of doing and which
they enjoy. At the same time, motivation
needs to be maintained.

5. Communication is passing information between two or
more people in such a way that each understands exactly
what the other is saying, as managers we frequently have to
communicate directions, and if we directions which are
reasonable and which our subordinates can understand,
they more than likely to comply.
It is easy to forget that communications can take place in
more ways than by means of spoken words.
5
6. THE COMMUNICATION PROCESS
First, he must realize that there are times when he has to ask for
help and when he does, he must know the questions to ask.
second, a manager has to know how to formulate directions
and any information he wants to give his subordinates.
finally, good communication involve listening, i.e.
concentrating on what the other person is saying so as to hear it
as accurately as it is being told.
supervisor must also consider that their attitudes and behavior
determine to a large extent the kind of information they may be
able to secure from their subordinates.

is available and when they can be properly
prepared.
VISUAL AIDS
films, filmstrips, easel presentations, and other
special visual materials have great potential value
but are only as good as the way they are used.
