the on Site Erection of the D500 Spray Dryer and Support
Steelwork. My last Project was on the in works fabrication of
Stainless Steel Pressure Vessels for the Medupi Project in Elisrus

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS : My first task on this Project was to do an Audit on the entire
Municipal Water Supply to the Brewery. I had to generate full P & I
Diagrams with Pressure / Temperature & Flow Ratings from
Instruments in the field. I then took over the Planning Functions for
all the Major Contractors on site and generated monthly reports for
the Project Manager and Senior Cost Engineer. These reports also
had to be done every 3 to 4 months for the Project Steering
Committee at SAB’s Central Office for the Directors. Lastly I was
involved in the Mechanical Catalogues issued from the contractors
to the Region. I worked closely with the SAB Documentation
personnel in incorporating the Mechanical Catalogues into the
Alrode Library and getting all the Drawings done on the Project to
an “As Built” status, and onto the File Server.

Kenyan Brewery Re-Location Project. Was involved with the
Utilities Portion of this Project. Due to a resource shortage I was
given the Process Portion of the Project. This entailed the
generation of both the PFD’s and P&ID’s on AutoCAD Rel 13 for
Windows. Worked closely on the Designs with Process Engineers
and developed Equipment, Line and Valve Lists on MSExcel. I then
started on generating Piping General Arrangements, also using
AutoCAD Rel 13. Then progressed onto AutoCAD Rel 14. The last
+/-6 months was spent doing the tasks of a Site / Project Engineer
working with the ME&I Contractor assisting on how the Brewery
was going to be stripped, in Garankua, to allow an effective and
quick Re-Installation of the Brewery in Thika, Kenya. I then
completed the Project by compiling the Process Mechanical
Catalogues, Electrical and Instrumentation Catalogues and closing
out the Project.

Registers for the Newlands and Butterworth Breweries. The Overall
Site Plan was put together using the Model / Paper Space utility
