Responsible to lead the Zinc die casting operation which includes 11 hydraulic high pressure
injection machines, 14 pneumatic high pressure injection machines and 2 overmolding machines.
Over 200 molds on different sizes and configurations, as well mechanical and cosmetic parts.
(After casting those parts goes to powder coat or plated including PVD process).
Over these 7 years, I have been responsible to lead the operation that includes lead all our set-up
technician, design, implement and follow training programs, as well ensure to achieve quality and
production standards & requirements thru OEE Tool.
Strong involvement in productivity and VA/VE project, we made over $300k usd saving due mold
redesign projects, to make them more productivity and, over $100k saving due scrap reduction as
well thru redesign tool and process capabilities.
Responsible of new product launch and tooling introduction, since the approval of mold design,
coordinate tryout run and pre-production runs, run & rates report, PPAP, create each mold
program, DFMEA & PFMEA, design of process maps and manufacturing routes, validation of BoM.
